If i do the alt kill and get the weapon do i still get the option to wait 24 hrs for the void heart ?

I accidentally destroyed the core. I really wanted to shut it down but i didnt noticed the console. Now im just mad at myself for it and really want to reroll my campaign….

The cutscene cutting out when you take the second option is super annoying! The same thing happened to me on my first run, thought I had accidentally skipped something but that appears not to be the case.
