  1. FD yes people will do what he did but he should have done the right thing regarding Nigeria's health care system and there wouldn't have been a reason to do what he did. Yes the reform of the Nigerian health system is necessary and can take years but ask yourself DF how long has he been in the senate and did you not hear that he embezzled funds meant for hospital project that could possibly have been useful in her daughter's case? Am sure if everything had been arranged in Nigeria; get a willing donor, even if he had to pay he is unlikely to be facing the current ordeals.

DF – o'un ti ko da ko loruko meji ko da na ni o ma je!

  2. Nigerian politicians are more corrupt and don't want to change. The west don't cover their crimes either. No drug barron will be allowed in the western world or arab world, they would have resigned.

Any sickness you will have and that your money can’t take care of it may you not see it, there was agreement between senator and the boy, got what he wanted and turn around to go against the senator the government of this world have passed their judgement but the punishment of swindling the senator by the boy will not go unpunished he will pay for it one way or another.

  5. While the UK Modern Slavery Act prescribes “imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years” for such infraction, reports claiming that Ekweremadu has been sentenced is false.

  6. That lawyer that called from the USA is a poor ignorant lawyer like many ignorant Americans, it is illegal and a crime in the UK and even the USA to receive payment for kidney donation period. We have even arrested people that payed for sperm donation in the UK and Australia, but sperm donations is allowed in some states in the USA like California….

All countries have their own laws, u can be payed legally for sperm or egg donations in California USA but here in the Uk or even Australia it is a crime…. Many people are ignorant of laws of the countries they visit, lets always learn to know the laws of any country we plan to visit.

Sperm donors in the UK are allowed to receive a maximum of £35 for each clinic visit to cover their expenses but they are not payed for donation, and it is illegal for them to receive payments. All body parts donations are altruistic in all sane countries to avoid how the Nigerian senator tried to use the boy because of poverty, which was probably caused by the senator himself or his likes.

  7. I will do anything to save my child and that is a tested fact. The reason why people are against him is that he is a politician who have been on the red chamber for several years and cannot influence the building of a good hospital. As a lawyer, everything that transpired between the parties should have been documented.
That donor guy is just an opportunist and that is the fact.

  8. The whole situation should be an example for Nigeria politicians. Destroying their mother land and seeking for saving grace as heaven in another man's land. They've damaged Nigeria beyond repair DF. Japa today was seen as normal thing but it's so sad to know that Nigerians abroad are not 100 percent happy. Home is home and no other place like it. Senator had every power to file a motion at the Senate opportunity to build the best hospital in his country.

  14. This is my first time watching Daddy Freeze. What a disappointment!

The level of ignorance displayed by the presenter and the guests who spoke is worrying.

    1. The 10 year sentence is fake news. Sentencing is yet to take place. The defendants will be sentenced on May 5.

    2. The presenter and guest speakers have failed to grasp that contract or no contract, minor or adult -it is illegal to offer a reward for organs. The idea being that only a disadvantaged person will sell their organ. Would a rich man's children sell their organs? NO, because they are not desperate and therefore not in a position to be exploited.

Under UK law, it is irrelevant if the exploited person is an adult or minor.

We should commend the UK authorities for according a poor Nigerian the dignity and protection that his own country, Nigeria, failed to provide.

  15. I think the woman is just a paralegal. There's no official agreement, btw them. There's a law guided Organs donation under WHO . You can donate organs to your immediate families without questioning, but when the 3rd parties are involved, the surgeon department has to do the investigation very well because of manipulation that would lead to lawsuits. Again, Nigerians don't have a reputation everywhere .
