Same in Healthcare, Admin bloat and not enough actual MD/RNs. 11 Admin for every 1 provider now. Meanwhile lots of gaslighting by Admin towards MD/RNs of why they are the problem for not being able to do more and more with less. We need 1/2 these Admin to lose their jobs so we can take their insane salaries and hire more MD/RNs. Do I sound bitter, I am, 30 years as an RN working my ass off/no breaks. 4 MDs I work with retired early this past year. They were OVER it. They were awesome and experienced, Not easy to replace.
Teachers = Parasites
Please don’t say the teachers don’t get paid enough. In my district elementary school math teachers get between $120,000 and $130,000 a year after working for 5 years for the school district.!! I realize this is not across the country, but in my area I feel like we’re paying them too much. Have you seen Dave Ramsey’s top five list of newly made millionaires that did not inherit their money? Teachers are Number three on the list.
Everyone should strike because money is worthless, working in vain. (Depression)
They are paid to much due to their political entrenchment.
I would agree if our children were able to read and write at the 12th grade level at graduation.

The schools here in Clark Country Washington has seen a enrollment drop due to parents pulling their children out of these woke schools. Two years ago the State of Washington imposed a 12 billion dollars one time property tax and the teachers union wanted it all. Teachers in my district went on strike and got a 25% raise. Then just finished signing a new contract and got more. There will never be enough money for our schools. The sad thing our children are not receiving a great education, what they are receiving is a indoctrination.

LA City leaders are communist and have no idea how capitalism works. They take not produce; the city is a mess and their is no incentive to buy anything in Los Angeles!😃
This strike should be illegal! They are strong arming the school district and tax payers at the expense of the students. Why would you become a teacher or do any job for that matter if you weren't happy with the pay. It's not like teacher low wages are secret.

We left socal 2.5 years ago and could not be happier.
My strategy for my financial capabilities which I'm sharing to help inspire others to do similarly to help stabilize the country, is buy cheap empty town lots and turn them into community gardens where you can rent raised bed planters VERY CHEAP *(to cover cost of property taxes and maintenance) to grow whatever crops you want for your personal use or to sell in the community farmer's market. That's my investment tip for a side hussle for those of you that don't have a big bank account. It provides food and security for yourself AND the community and boosts your network and net worth modestly. In the beginning, you garden the beds yourself with flowers and food. Make it attractive and people will stop and talk to you.. Sell them an annual raised bed rental for like $25-100. Repeat. Don't know how to build attractive and comfortable raised beds or garden? Start in your own back yard and expand from there.
Department of education: don't come to us for education. Go online!
Just remember, Mr. Anti-labor, the bozos with the "jobs" make your cardboard boxes, YOUR money buys YOU service from/by others. Try a little tenderness.
I was a proud 4th generation Californian. I left 12 years ago and have no regrets. It breaks my heart to see the stupidity and abuse heaped on the people by the elected leaders.
By the way, the biggest raise I ever got was when I moved out of California and stopped paying California taxes.
I’m blessed to live in a cluster of homes owned by Christians and my great neighbors to the east homeschool their three kids 16, 13 and 10 and they’re polite smart kids.

The whole LAUSD system has gone to 💩. Fire them ALL, shut the whole thing down, and start over from scratch with the old early 1900’s “3 R’s” Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Mathematics, Sciences, Civics, Social Studies, Health, Home Economics, American and World History (from 1950’s history books…pre-1963 Communist influence), Physical Education, Music and Art curriculum, and hiring only teachers who demonstrate excellence in teaching those basics.

I should have done homeschool 40 years ago. Public school where i lived was a waste. By the time they took role, collected homework and gave new homework assignments, the bell rang. There was zero teaching happening. 29 minutes per class per day was not enough time to teach anything. It was self learning. School started at 7am and ended everyday at 12:30. We had to stay afterschool to eat lunch which no one did.

They do not feel the need for children to learn to spell, write and do math and many other things that we old boomers learned because the thought is they are not going to need an education in the future because of Artificial Intelligence. I stopped teaching many years ago because of many things I did not agree with and the schools were becoming war zones !
