Another possible rabbit/deer repellant suggestion that an amazing northwoods gardening friend shared with me – is adding "scent" to areas of plants the rabbits/deer want to eat. After losing 90% of my sunflower seedlings to rabbits within one day of their being planted out in the garden, we took her advice for the next succession planting of sunflowers and so far it's working beautifully! We bought a bottle of the cheapest, stinky-ess liquid fabric softener we could find. We poured barely 1/2inch into the bottom of empty water bottles and then buried the bottles, uncapped, half way in the soil (so they don't get knocked over and spill but we can later easily remove when the plants are big) every couple of yards around the row of sunflowers. No more rabbits or deer eating the baby sunflowers! That area of our garden smells faintly like fresh laundry, but it's a small price to pay to grow these beauties! The softener does evaporate slowly over time, but the rain that falls into the bottle just reactivates the scent again.
It sounds like there are real potential problems with allowing the ProCuts to sit in their trays too long. At what point do you compost them? Mine have definitely been in the 128 tray too long.
Big 🎉congratulations🎉 to TGW for achieving shippong to Alaska and was it also Hawaii (?). I know there had to be a big concerted effort to work that out. I appreciate all your efforts so much, though I am not in either of those states.

Yes! I had the earliest sunflowers in my area all because of your advice 😊🌻! Thank you so much Lisa
I started my usual flat 2 days ago🌈
North lawn flower Farm does the same thing with snapdragon cutting after she pinches them in the tray and get double the snack dragon
You can make sure it's dried out and plug that little hole with a dab of superglue (maybe 2 dabs!) and that should work!
