  2. The result of the counter-offensive that CNN doesn't show!
Russian soldiers evacuate bodies of Ukrainian soldiers from Donbass
The Russian military is evacuating the bodies of their Ukrainian colleagues killed in the fighting in the town of Novosiolovskoye, located in the Russian republic of Luhansk, members of Russia's 1st Guards Tank Army said.
"We must preserve the memory of the dead, whether they are our enemies. We cannot leave them like dog food. The remains of the bodies must be returned to their families", said the head of the detachment in charge of extracting and evacuating the combat area, known under the pseudonym Strela (Arrow).
According to him, seven corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were evacuated in the last day.

  3. for anyone wondering, to date as of August 13, 2023, Ukraine has suffered around 177,620 casualties.

Roughly 24,000 have died and 153,000 wounded. Most wounded will never return to battle.

Russia on the other hand has suffered around 272,850 casualties.

Roughly 75,579 are KIA, and roughly 197,271 are wounded.

To compare in historical terms, the germans on the offensive on the eastern front against the soviets suffered 5.63 wounded to KIA ratio. Russia's currently is 2.61 WIA to KIA.

Russia's K/D ratio is slightly less than .33 (24000/75579). Meaning 3 russians die per ukrainian, whether it be combat or attrition or disease or whatever. This is typically outperforming the historical average for an attacker which can fluctuate a lot based on technological edge, quality of troops, etc.

With Russia going on the defensive, entrenching themselves, utilizing Defense in Depth, and utilizing minefields and whatnot, this will shift decently in Russia's favor. Ukraine will likely be run down due to attrition and will slowly run out of reinforcements for their units. They are expending a large amount of manpower at the moment to take small amounts of land, and cant't NOT attack at risk of this conflict becoming a frozen war.

It is unknown how many soldiers/manpower Ukraine has at the moment. Including active personnel, my upper estimate is 2 million, middle estimate is 1.5 and lower estimate is 1 million. This means the war isn't going to be over soon and will likely continue for years. Ukraine likely has more morale and in war terms has more war support.

I highly doubt this war will end until 2025/2026. Until then and for right now, Russia has the upper hand, despite having suffered more casualties.

  9. Russian Navy will receive 5 more ships, including one for Poseidon nuclear submarine drones. The destroyer of naval bases. That's 100 megatons in the Poseidon underwater drone! United States, England and their NATO licking bags are lucky that Vladimir Putin is the president at the height of the great, magnanimous and victorious Russian nation, over would-be global dominators.

  13. You would have to be an idiot to not recognize that Russia is securing ALL Russian speaking provinces in eastern Ukraine… they don’t give a damn about Kiev or there would be no Kiev. This “war” story needs reevaluation.

  14. Watching both western and Russian Media reports from the frontline in Ukraine I notice western reporters wearing "PRESS" sign on their chests and backs, but Russian reporters wear no signs and I see it as a very important feature. A "PRESS" sign is not supposed to be targeted and destroy among civilized countries and Russia follows that rule, but for Ukraine's troops "PRESS" sign is a preferable target. Moreover when interviews are taken from Russian soldiers they mostly use veils covering their faces lest Ukraine’s intelligence would go after their relatives abusing them up to destroying those people. Ukraine’s soldiers have never covered their faces, as Russia dose not pose any threat to their relatives. I don't believe to what both sides proclaim, but I watch for small details that tell much more than any propaganda. As I possess both Russian and Ukraine language skills I can watch their medias and I participate in appropriate social networks. My impression of Ukrainians is very negative. They are very little educated and demonstrate much arrogance and aggression. My conclusion is that Ukraine's military is not a civilized army, but rather hordes of barbarians that despise any rules of war very much like ISIS. How can civilized countries support Ukraine? Civilized cannot, only evil and barbaric ones.
