I’m a victim of this cholera & mine was from either the roadside corn or Isi ewu I ate and I ate those foods on the 20th of June, as that was the only things I ate that day & the nxt day I ate nothing else but drank la casera drink of which I drank in the evening of the 21th as my tummy started with the pains & I thought it was because I had not eaten all day and the stooling and vomiting started not long after I had that soft drink & it happened all night till I was admitted on the 22 of June 2024… just note that too

  7. It sounds misleading to be blaming tiger nut drink for cholera outbreak. Tiger nuts don't generally cause cholera. The problem isn't tiger nut juice but unsafe and unhygienic food preparation methods in Lagos State, which reflects a failure of government in ensuring food safety and potable water supply to the people. Any food item prepared in unhygienic manner can also be a source of cholera outbreak, including "pure water".

  13. Cholera is a water borne disease, it is not the tiger nuts itself, it is the water used to prepare them that is the source of the Cholera outbreak in Lagos. Especially in the Island where their water is bad and not pure.

By seeing what that Lady has in her hand it is obvious that she buys or drinks the road side Tigernut drink, my wife produce tigernut drink and she doesn't use picked bottles, she uses clean water for production even though these bottles keep increasing in price on daily bases. Non of her customers have been reported to have any issue. We even drank tigernut a day before yesterday and last night.

    Some people don't know the importance of hygiene in preparing what they eat talk more of what they sell to others, like Chinedu said, this Tigernut is innocent and thats the Truth. Ndi be anyi, ekene kwam unu.

  22. I Can never buy house nor live in Lagos..very dirty..not only do you know how many people that lost their lives in that city?

    I don't know why we have to fly to Lagos coming back from abroad..this is injustice for the SouthEast.Someone that doesn't have any business/ relatives in Lagos must fly their before going to their place..😢
