Robbie, thank you so much. I learn so much from you! Im dealing with vine bore this year and have already lost 6 pumpkin plants. Be glad you don't get those! My question… i found grubs next to my Compost pile. I figured they were feeding on the leaf mold from last fall so i didnt panic. Will they venture out and kill my grass?

I transplanted 4 zucchini plants just now using the 2 system method in my 40 gallon tote. Plus I put two into fresh soil in the tote, I hope to get a few before the first frost, enough to freeze up for winter. Yes I can buy some but it’s so satisfying to watch a plant grow and produce edible fruit. My yellow squash petered out & that’s okay bc I got plenty.

So I did a little experiment, I put a 2 system with my cucumbers and I have. Hot pepper plant in a nice size bucket, instead of a constrainer I dug out an area a hole and placed the pepper plant on top, well the pepper plant literally sprouted OVER NIGHT! I could not believe it! It was literally amazing……. So I did it to other plants that were struggling nd it’s making what happened! RAINBOW 🌈 LADY! We love you……I didn’t do the 2 system bc some containers were on the small side but for them added a sour cream container and just put the food in there, put littles holes in the top so when I water everything flows. It’s literally made the bigger difference in our garden………..

Welllll. Robbie. If you don't have critters. One will GET critters IF you Compost like you're suggesting plus, I did bury my Compost pile 🙁 I have so many 🐀 RATS it is not even funny 🙁 plus, rats will chew a HOLE into any plastic pots, grow bags, etc. I am removing all sources of food for rats. Extreme nuisance here in zone 9B and No. CA..
