The reason the ship chunk had such a massive amount of steel and other stuff, was because you had it up all the way back before you changed the settings for the spawns.

It's weird that you keep mentioning that your colonists are "Good people" except they've killed hundreds of people at this point. I'm sure some of the men who fought Hitler killed a lot of people as well. Killing isn't inherently bad and in fact was necessary for more of human history that it wasn't. No law, system of morality or agreed upon convention worldwide agrees that killing someone who is trying to kill you is morally bad. Kicking a dog is bad, but that doesn't mean you're a bad person for kicking a dog who's trying to tear your face off with it's teeth. Creating one cure is more morally upright than defending yourself against the entire planet trying to kill you is morally reprehensible. Shit opinions like this are the reason there is no recorded cases of PTSD before the age of gunpowder and modern soldiers have to be psychologically taunted by their own actions of making you safe and free to spread shit opinions.
