  1. Could also be the fact that Dracula decided to tie him up and throw him over the side while he was still alive to die a slow death this way it's a reminder to all humans that he's going to kill them all.

  2. You do know that in Castlevania lore that the castle is alive, it changes it's layout all the time, right? There is no maintenance or safety workers. The Castle maintains itself as it is a creature of chaos.

  3. Crazy thing is, I'd learned about castles in 6th grade and so knew about that stuff, but absolutely failed to consider that that could be a possible explanation for that particular skeleton. But I did have that thought about the Master Librarian's room.

  4. Imma make this short and sweet :the castle itself is a living entity meaning the skeleton you see hanging from the wall is most likely some unfortunate soul who tried to escape during the castles transformation many yrs ago . It's not that deep if your familiar with Castlevania as in most games draculas castle takes on many forms as seen on Castlevania 1-3 on the nes and super Castlevania and Castlevania bloodlines for snes and Sega . There i saved you a 7 minute video rambling on about toilets and other nonsense.
