  1. Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists?
I think it has existed in the past but it's no longer here. Otherwise they would've for sure already had help but the fact that nothing is happening gives me the feeling that there's no way it currently exists

It would be so fitting for a group of people, who got stuck in a hopeless place under ground to develop a grand illusion about a mythical past. Just to deal with the trauma of being stuck in a place like this, filled with dark creatures. And perhaps even the crystal was always shifting, the Arathi just have a nostalgia for a past that never happend. 😉

Yes, I hope we get to see it in a new patch or expansion where we travel to some new continent! But I also do like the time travel speculations 😄

  4. Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists? i mean, it has to, right? I've always been of the opinion that there are some time travel hijinks going on, but I'm not sure I have a prediction about that yet

I do! I have a theory that the emperor will be evil (obviously) and once we take him down, Anduin will be the one to step in and rule (possibly together with Faerin) leaving SW to Turalyon.
I love the time portal theory though I just think it would be too complex to pull without any plot holes.

  6. 46:10 Regarding Brann and his usefullness: You have to remember that he can only level up to level 15 pre-season which is not much. He can level up to level 60 during the season and I'm pretty sure he'll be a lot more powerfull on higher levels.

His skills are also only level 1 out of 4 pre-season, meaning that his skills are also a lot less impactfull as well until you levelled them up.

PS: The Kobolds and their stories about The Darkness is some true lovecraftian horror stuff.

PPS: 1:47:58 Please no! Time travel stuff always messes up everything, we really don't need any more of that. As for the Bronze Dragonflight – I prefer the way the time events in Dragonflight where set up with different decisions simply leading to different timelines/universes and the Bronze Dragons just trying to keep them all in order and not bash into each other.

I would love to end up returning the people of Hallowfall to the Arathi Empire, and thats when we get access to the Half-Elf character customisation options that have been data-mined.

Probably does. But if I'd put my money on it they'd be hostile to us or brand us as heretics (looking at you Tali and that sexy, sexy N'zoth eye). I think even Faerin mentions in one of the quests that the people of Hallowfall are welcoming to whatever we are because they're survivors, they get whatever help they can, but the Empire is MUCH more xenophobic

  9. Let's put it this way:
I believe that Xal'athat was madly in love with certain emperor of the Light. But unfortunately the corruption of the Old Gods managed to imbue a certain artifact with their cunning magic and the balance between the forces of Light and Void was broken. This forced the Emperor to call out for aid in his lands. Worried about his wellbeing Xal'athat was forced to struck a bargain with one of the Old Gods known as Nazoth to ensure the survival of her beloved. She promised to aid the old God when time came, only if he was to protect and preserve the life of her beloved. So the Old God had his plain in motion to divide and conquer. In a fierce battle between the Light and Dark, Nazoth and his fellow generals managed to capture the Emperor of Light and enclose him with their foul magic in a prison in-between space and time. And locked that prison with a strangely world-soul-look-a-like object, which was able to transform and conduct any type of magical energy.

During that time Xal’athat was forced by her beloved to scout and search the lands for support to push back the forces of Dark.

However, she was late. By the time she returned to the Arathi lands, there were only remains of a terrible battle. It was then, when she swore to revenge and do all she can to free her beloved emperor. In her cry of rage, she managed to summon an entity from the Void, who promised her all the power she needed to fulfil her plan.

It remains to be seen and proven that in the entirety of the Universe and all different schools of magic, there is one that binds them all – The Love, which is able to transform, unite and in a mystical alchemical way to imbue itself in all the living and non-living matter. It was exactly that force that pushed Xal’athat to do the unthinkable.

Jaina was looking at the bright and shining eyes of Khadgar while he was telling her the vision and conversation he has had with Xal’athat in the realm of the void relic.

Sooo… straight to the question: “Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists?", Yeap, probably 🙂

  10. "Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists?" Fake News! This Light Wing propaganda is so stupid. Everyone with a brain knows the Arathi are long gone.
    Make Azeroth great again!

im From US, since wasnt stated if it was EU or NA only.
yes and no i think it would be super cool idea that they are the start of the empire and to make sure arathi exists in the future , the empire sent them here in the past to create the empire for the future

  12. "Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists?" It does exist and I believe that the Emperor is a fanatical tyrant who may pose a threat to the region of Azeroth as we know it.

I assume it is, but not the same as they remember.
They are probably not from the far future since they don't have any crazy technology.
I do think that there was some kind of time jump, but probably not as long as 1000 years.

  14. "Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exist?" I think it does exist and we use Wenren's research to piece the spell back together, maybe with Khadgar's help. It would be a great not underground content patch for War Within, which I think we need. I also just really want it to be real and I want to meet the Nightsquall there.

  15. 'Do you think the Arathi Empire actually exists?' – Yes, but I'm down for the time-skip forward idea. I want to explore the decrepit remains of a light-bound empire, that crumbled because of their devotion…bonus points if its across the western storms

Well I like to think it does and that they are gonna be baddies, just because people are being fanatic about the whole Turalyon light dictator when he is just the sweetest guy on Azeroth, but that plot is so interesting and it definitely suits the Arathi better, so they can explore the idea of more villian humans and how the nostalgia for the old stories and history in general can actually be dangerous.
I Look forward to moree tridimentional characters and how light and void dynamics work, just like Faerin
