Poor Ruxin has never seen a Bio-mage in real life. When you get a little bit older and meet the right person bud, you'll see one.
I like that it doesn't take you 3 hours to open a box like it does for Poke Rev.
Marie wasn't "thrown into" the Darklord archetype. It was a Darklord long before it was even an archetype. They freely interpreted its full name while translating the card, just like they did with Kinetic Soldier and Summoned Skull. It turned out to be a mistake when Konami started to release Darklord cards and they had to give Marie an errata… Either that or adding the usual text at the bottom stating "This card is always treated as a Darklord card". Either way, this was one of the few cases where giving a card an errata was necessary, just to correct the mistakes done in the past.

Magic Cylinder is my favorite LON card of all time. I remember when I was 11-12 years old playing casually at a local card shop, I got matched up against a 20-something year old tryhard with a Chimeratech OTK deck. I had two set S/T cards and he Mystical Space Typhooned one of them before pooping out a Chimeratech Overdragon with 8,800 ATK. He attacked….and my other set card was Magic Cylinder. I think that's the only time I ever managed to make an opponent toss their hands up in the air.

Man this was box opening was giving me flashbacks to when my buddy and I saved up our allowance money when we were kids and bought a sealed box of this set! We pulled all rares and contacted Konami and they sent us a Gemini an ultra and a super rare card to make up for the mishap.

I actually miss the oldschool way. Before all this new syncro stuff. Duels would last more than 3-4 turns. I mean a big part of the fun was the whole back and forth suspense to see how and WHO would win!
