I have a Junk Winder in my Xyris, the Withing Storm deck. It gets exiled a lot. like a LOT
I run mirror box in mine with some copy spells to copy krothuss for infinite creature Spawn and damage. Pretty funny
So what's better, this or Arixmethes? Because I built an Arixmethes deck already

I legit just picked up Runo on Wednesday and have been looking for deck ideas.
I feel like if you want to play Icebreaker Kraken then you should play snow basics. The stun ability is good, but having it be possibly cheaper to cast and protect itself in a pinch seems worth it.
New sakashima and mirror box are really great includes as well especially mirror, once you start copying runo, opponents beware

I've been running this deck for a while now and it's pretty nasty. Also if u have a few extra bucks on ya, I recommend adding mirror box, (so u can copy your legendaries and make ur clone army hit harder), and helm of the host, ( same reason but you can go infinite with krothus)

Just built this commander as long as you have plenty of creatures with mana value 6 or more and plenty of ramp it's brutal

Mr Mitch, great deck tech as usual. Just check the decklist to built it but it seems that the list on tcgplayer is missing two cards. The sapphire dragon and mirrors hell crab are missing 😅😅😅.
This card goes perfectly in my N'gathrod (Davy Jones) upgraded precon.
Ive had the aesi precon deck and have been wanting to convert it over to a big sea monsters deck for a while this guy is perfect.
Please do a Jan janson, chaos crafter deck. I feel it could be an omega level commander as it goes infinite with any untap outlet.
Snow-Covered Lands would have been a nice addition…
I would say spawning kraken is a really good card to go over budget for on this deck, it can be a win condition for sure, I once made 456 9/9 kraken tokens in one game with the commander and spawning kraken
Nice deck, i think you missed the Serpent of Yawning Depths that's very good here too!
A good break-the bank strategy would be Helm of the Host and/or Sakashima the Imposter to get multiple copies of Krothuss.

Love my Runo deck, my strongest card is by far Spawning Kraken, it gets out of hand incredibly fast and creates more tokens that trigger its ability
Hey, just a heads up, I ordered the deck from the link in the video and I noticed a few discrepancies
1. Sapphire dragon, Mirror shell crab, Terramorphic expanse, and Waker of waves are not included in it
2. Read the bones, negate, and “saw it coming” are included in the deck list despite not being present in the video
For anyone reading, if you’d like to buy the deck as presented in the video you’ll have to add the cards in 1 and cut the cards mentioned in 2
