  11. Love Caleb & this story line. WENT ON SUCH A ROLLERCOASTER of being happy, disturbed, sad, and relieved. Caleb haters I feel don't have a good grasp of the complexities of his character & trauma. All the other LI have some degree of obsession & manipulation, they're just more low key 🤷

    Also wanted to add my little theory regarding Caleb (for anyone that's interested):

    Since he mentioned he would've been 'abandoned' if he didn't join the Farspace Fleet, perhaps they recruited or coerced him into joining before the explosion (with the foreknowledge of it) under the condition that they can take MC's Aether core in her heart, similar to their goal with Kevi… But because Caleb is obsessive and possessive over MC since childhood, he uses this to his advantage and saves her instead of Grandma, which is why he said, 'I couldn't protect both of you'… Because they're adoptive siblings, having Grandma still alive would make their possible relationship seem taboo, so Perhaps he decided to 'ditch' protecting Grandma in order for him and MC to be in a romantic relationship without any familial problems, and didn't let the Fleet investigate her or find her for this long in order to save the Aether core in her heart…

    And it is interesting that MC can't remember certain memories with Rafayel (since I believe they've met in the past), even Xavier, or the other MLs, it does make me wonder if MC might also have a chip in her brain that resets her memories???… (Dunno, just speculating)…

    For some reason I'm also suspecting Caleb of being a villain because the comment Sylus made when MC accused him of the explosion keeps ringing in my head: "Family?… The people closest to you may be the ones who want to kill you the most." 😳😳

    Added: Ice crystals growing on the girl that turned into a 'monster'?… Why the heck does that sound so identical to what happened to Zayne? Possibly getting used as bait for Sylus by Ever (Sylus's Dragon Lore might happen all over again?! 😥)
