In this video we explore why SCP-096 The Shy Guy is so sad from his first person perspective.
SCP 096 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Shy Guy.
SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition.
SCP096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096’s face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face.

This one a rare ocassion where i actually really felt bad for a fictional character. Shy guy doesn't deserve it.
This is why 096 is one of the few SCPs I am sorry for. The others are 049 because he is trying to cure a disease and 999 because the foundation doesn't allow him to leave site 19 and make everyone happy.

What if scp096 was enraged, but the only path to the target was blocked by a small room where scp303 was between 096 and the target, for example, somewhere deep underground. Would 096 open the door, and what would 303 do if that happened? Could 303 and 096 become friends since 303 has no eyes and also dose not want to be looked at. Could 303 be used to prevent 096 targets from fleeing to help end 096 rampage faster by not allowing them to move from there location.
