SCP 001 is an Apollyon Class anomaly also known as When Day Breaks.
SCP-001 is the designation given to the Sun, after an event occurred that resulted in roughly 6.8 billion casualties within the first twenty-four hours. Upon contact with visible light produced by SCP 001, living organisms liquefy at the point of contact, with the effect spreading until the entire organism is converted into a form resembling melted wax. Organisms exposed to SCP001 though, do not perish.

How come this moon thing doesnt happen in other stories 3:20
Ah scp001 when day breaks my favorite scp and in my opinion the most dangerous scp for mankind/animal kingdom an scp defiantly worthy of the 001 status. The one scp you can't stop from ending everything on earth.. definitely a good video ty for making it. But I'm curious what happens to fish and sea creatures? And ik that it melts other scps like shy guy but when they combine do they keep their anomalies exp. If shy guy and the hard to destroy reptile combine do u have a blob that you can't destroy and that will stop at nothing to kill you if you see it's face if they do keep their anomalies the wrong 2 scps combining would be a serious problem on top of 001 the world would be screwed lol can you answer these few questions plz or give me your thoughts on it.
I'm curious what would the sun's siter do incase of 001 since she points out all things that will harm earth. Would she warn us b4 it happens?

It might be a good idea for the foundation to retreat into SCP-3008 and build a giant installation there. With all the technology the foundation has they would have no problem surviving there.
