If Mars’ shale rock porosity versus depth can be estimated from seismic data, as it can on Earth,
(google: “Sediment dewatering in the Macran accretionary prism”) , then one can also determine Mars’ rock-forming mechanism and geothermal gradient, as can be done on Earth (google “Proposed Method for Shale Compaction Kinetics”)
I wanna see some Martian fish. Why is it so hard to see any life forms outside earth? Not expecting much. Maybe some amoeba or plankton like creature…why 8 million species on earth evolved out of nothing but absolutely zero species elsewhere??
What difference is this news story compared to saying there are sophisticated 2 headed alien creatures living in caves 100km deep below Mars' surface?
