well in my country if a teacher thinks a child at any age is gay or transgender they are legally allowed to bring in specialist social workers to work with the child without any parental consultation, and that sounds very dubious until my child started school and I addressed this topic with the principal and teacher who confirmed that was mandated school policy, so I'm not surprised that religious groups and anti LGBT activists are producing media such as this,

I'd like to point out that basing your new/preferred name off your origin name doesn't make someone simple! Henrietta, my bio-girl child of 12 is non-binary leaning heavily towards masc and is also gay. They came out as both around 8mths ago. Their dad and I have always called them Henry around 20% of the time since they were a toddler – just a cute family nickname along with things such as Sweet Pea or My Love. Around 4mths ago, they decided they wanted to go by Henry everywhere as it is a masculine name. School was easy, name changed on roll. Slowly but surely we are changing it in other places like banks, doctors etc. They are confident in their new name which is the only thing that matters!
When I was in school, they separated us in 5th grade to discuss puberty and pregnancy. I don’t know what they taught the boys. But yeh, it was separate programs.
