This is possibly the best remake ever of a film. However the original is still more intense with its subject matter.
Tony Montoya (not Montana) was a punk. If you watch, everyone knew it but him. He was a clown
I like the sequel which was done in the ps2 game. The ending is changed to Tony not getting killed and he kills everyone else. Kills all of Sosa's top men and his empire crumbles and Tony takes over everything.
The actress who plays Tony's sister was also in " The Abyss ".
38:38 – Manny knew how serious Tony was about his sister, he had already emphasized that to him once. If you take someone seriously, then it is enough for you to be told something once, in order for you to take it seriously. Manny was wrong to try anything behind Tony's back. It was naive of Manny to think that it would go smoothly. Tony had a blackout and was acting like he was acting. I'm not excusing him. The guilt is mutual. They could have sat down with Tony and talked first, maybe it would have worked out. 🤔
The Mariel Boatlift is real, the story of Tony Montana isn't.

Hi Asia & BJ!😊 Nice Scarface t-shirt, BJ!👏👏 I recall when this came out that the critics did not like it at all. But, people loved going to see this in theaters!❤ It is a great fun film, that has a high rewatch value too. This is a remake of "Scarface" (1932), but the films are very different do to time. Michelle Pfeiffer was a model before becoming an actress. The assassin Tony drives around was also the landlord in "Ace Ventura" Pet Detective".😉 Great reactions to this gangster classic, Kids!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏

1. The first time I saw this was in a Nightclub (during the day for lunch) in Olongapo City in the PI. Hooked immediately!😎
2. Steven Bauer/Manny is the only true Cuban in the main cast.
3. Miami didn't want this filmed there because it would make the City look bad. Most outside scenes were filmed in LA.
4. My biggest takeaway was how fast Sosa got his team to rain on Tony.😱
before the marina boat lift if you got in a fight you ended up best friends or if it was a mexican you might get back stabed but when the cubans came you would probably get shot after a fight
Someone else probably mentioned it already but the Italian guy Tony shoots in the car is Hector Salamanca from Breaking Bad.
