Boeing has not finished paying for this, and not only for the 737. The first to pay the price will be the 777x, who will be looked at VERY closely both by the FAA and foreign agency which cannot trust the boeing/FAA combination anymore.
That means massive costs and delays.

I live on the flight path at Glasgow Airport in Scotland and to this day love my bird watching and can tell you what model of plane it is just listening to the power plants, albeit it's getting harder now as some power plants are used on different models but i don't know what it was about the max family…there was a weird feeling about that new member of the 737 family and when 2 fell out of the sky it gave me heebie-jeebies and that was before all the deceit had came out about their practices. Before the 2 crashes even happened i called them "smax" because i had a very bad vibe about them, I called them "smax" which stands for (small malfunction and execution).. my bad vibe was on the right track but never in a million years did i expect a company like Boeing to smear the pilots…unbelievable 😔🏴
It's all a scandal. BUT let's please not forget, and NO I'm not blaming anyone here just pointing out that commercial airline pilots today sometimes couldn't even fly a Cessna on a good day, or at least what I mean is to be a "pilot" now is NOT what it use to mean. As in being able to just "fly" a plane what with all the computerization.
I'll sometimes binge on those airline disaster shows and the amount of accidents I see caused by flight crew NOT just looking at their airspeed or altimeter or artificial horizon??? I'm a bad VR video game pilot and I've watched a few of these episodes where I was like "why didn't they just…" only to find out after investigation they "shoulda just…" done the thing my sorry layman PC pilot ass woulda done, what??? That ain't right.
By reading the title, i thought this was decades ago.

No surprise its an american company you can ALWAYS count on american dishonesty.
As far as I'm concerned. This story exposes some of the worst aspects of American style "capitalism". From putting profits over safety, to the Federal Government letting a large company self certify its products to the fact that no one in a senior position was held accountable and all no doubt got sizable bonuses that year despite overseeing such a fiasco.
curious to know if this channel has the minerals to delve into jewery banking, the Rothschilds, the gulags and juish Bolsheviks who ended tens of millions of lives. Or the current apartheid in 1sraeI officially declared so by human rights watch and Amnesty international.

Was managing AOA such a problem before this mcas system was needed in the first place? It seems like taking away control from pilots is a bad idea just saying. Maybe Pilots should be competent pilots?
I used to love flying ,then I met a aero Technician lol Im a Toolmaker / Car freak mainly JDM and Aussie stuff here in New Zealand ,and we got to talking about aircraft ,In cars aslong as you have 4 wheels connected to the rest of the car and you have a engine failure you shove it in Neutral and coast to the side of the road ,In a plane then you got issues.He told me in learning his trade,he was broke and used to pick up bits of planes that were lying around in the out fields of the Air port that had fallen off said planes and he would cash them in for scap money to pay rent,food,car etc and he had a photo of nearly every bit he had found and had made a file ,bits of flaps ,air brakes,spoliers and lots of control surfaces bits ,man thats scary ,bits falling off planes ,bits do not fall off my cars apart from the odd rear bumper lol then i started flying his flight sim set up with a A320 Neo and CJ4 Citation ,Iv got over 400 hrs in the A320 and about 100 on the citation and have learned a whole new world .Noticed most crashes are human error in one way or another, and the big one is leaving flaps down after take off ,not gaining speed or altitude and stalling out into the ground ,and how you can stall one wing

The end problem is that there was no real punishment. $2.5B isn’t punishment. That’s a tax for killing innocent people. It’s going to be incredibly difficult to trust Boeing again after all the information that has come out about them covering this up.

Although I do really like the video with all the information given, it seems like during the video there may be some editing mistakes in terms of your audio. There are mulitple moments where your speech seem to drastically slow down as if you problem pronouncing the words. Hope you can take a look at it!

Americans don't realize, or don't care that the FAA is both tasked with aircraft safety AND promoting American aviation. It's like having your doctor look after your health and also marketing drugs, medical devices, etc to you. A huge conflict of interest and plainly unethical, similar to "rogue nations" like China, Russia, etc etc etc do.

And then nothing happened, nobody got in trouble or went to jail, the people who directly made the shady greedy decisions that led to a few hundred deaths got huge bonuses. The End.

This 737 Max thing has far reaching problems covering many industries that they aren’t talking about. It has to do with fake computer programming degrees from a certain country that gets outsourced to by many companies in the U.S. Boeing unfortunately fell victim to this.
The 2.5 billion should have gone to the families of the victims and not to the US government coffers. Not right that greedy Boeing kills people then to add insult to injury the US government hits the lottery.
It is just fucking amazing.
It is ALWAYS the same.
It is ALWAYS totally predictable.
We'll cut huge amounts of money from all essential areas.
But we'll give ourselves HUGE salaries, and incredibly huge bonuses.
The people on the board have been SELECTED specifically for their lack of ethics.
How..we'll do enough dodgy things that anyone with any spine or ethics will have quit.
Then, knowing we're all pretty much crooks, we'll all be jointly responsible for the bad behavior, so no one will shop any of the others.
We'll make huge efforts to remove all engineers and scientists off the boards of engineering and science based companies.
Unless we can find some nice corrupt ones who just like money. Because corrupt people are everywhere.
We'll ignore everything said to us about safety.
We'll work to corrupt government. Not usually too hard.
Then we'll kill hundreds if not thousands and thousands (Bhopal) of people.
And then we'll try to blame the victims, or "less developed people with bad safety records". So disgusting.
I live between the US and the UK. In the UK, the obscenity of what occurred at Bhopal was headline news.
I've never met an American who has even HEARD of it. An American company.
How many Americans do you think know about what Boeing did?
I've been living in the US for a number of years now. I haven't met a single one who has heard of it…..but they bang on about too much regulation.
This is why we should not be bailing out big companies for any reason. Let them fail. Yeah lack of job security sucks and having to job search after your company goes under is a pain in the ass but it's part of life. Humans are very adaptable and the people's skills will still be there if their employer isn't.
