To try and take my mind of things I have been taking my mates dog out for walks.
Say hello to Al. He is a 9 month old XL bulldog and is as soft as clarts.
As he is still a puppy he loves to play but since the ban he now has to wear a muzzle in public and not allowed off the lead for the rest of his life.
Itβs such a shame that he will never be able to run or even fetch a stick.

Nice to meet Al, what a super cute pup!
Great to see you back Dave. Love the dog. The breed is not the problem in my opinion itβs some of the people that own them, that raise/treat them in the improper way, to ban a breed is not the way forward and has negative consequences on perfectly friendly dogs, personally I would have banned some owners who werenβt responsible enough to own any dog. To help him with acclimatizing to the muzzle I found Primula squeezy cheese is the best. Also I found you can hire private fields online that are secure to allow him space to run etc.
its funny after the last video i was thinking of Annie and how much dogs give in love and thats what you need is and this comes up take care dave and enjoy the dog xx
also…a bit of a metaphor mate……gonna be great watching you and Al get unmuzzled and find some new freedom…..the durg seems to have been an unfair blow too….time to get healing ,bro..recent life lesson has burnt you, but put ya caring , loving nature into the durg….that'll sort you both out. π
Great to see another video from you & what a lovely dog!
Al is so handsome β€β€β€ Bully laws are unfair. You seem to be in a better frame of mind. I was wondering if you would want to get another dog.
This video made me smile, am glad Al has for outings and all the praise you give him. He can be off the lead In fenced in yard though. Very handsome pup. π
Oh fuck right off. I am so unbelievably disappointed in this and you've earned an unsub. You apologists for these beasts are the reason we had to have legislation. Absolutely disgusting.
Absolutely harmless, Dave itβs great focused & happy , the clues to keep you happy are in this video ! God bless you
Ohh Alls cute, pets/animals can help get through bad times. Shame about the muzzle and Leeds, but ur mate doing the right thing and following the rules, but ist no fair on the poor dog.
beautiful dog
Nice dog!!! He didn't look aggressive. But I'm not that familiar with the breed. Get your spuds to chitting, plant them onions and leeks. Let get going on gardening and life.
β€β€β€super happy for ya!π
Nice to see you out and about Dave
β€
Well thatβs good for you and the dog.xxxxπππ
Great seeing you out. The dog will be so good for you Dave. Lovely boy.
Beautifull, get an extending lead ; ) X
nice one dave, love him
Dave, good to see you looking a little more positive, keep it up. You're doing well. Al looks like any other puppy, inquisitive, bags of energy but above all (and despite the muzzle and lead) happy. He's obviously well loved and he'll no doubt enjoy being with his mate Dave ππ you take care, wounds take time to heal but there ard clear signs that the healing process has begun. Will take time but it will happen. Take care, get some seeds sown ππ
brilliant π
he's a beauty. ?I' so happy to see you with your friends dog.
Nice to see another video and what an amazing pup he's like our Bruno only Bruno not so well behaved he just wants to lick everyone lol .
Your doing ok buddy take every day one step at a time . The muzzle is cruel and most of the time it's other people letting there dog run at your dog not on a lead .when we take Bruno out like on the beach you pick somewhere so that your on your own and they deliberately walk at you .anyways enough ranting lovely to see you and the wee one .have a good day buddy all the best , mark and Emily at Rooster Recovery
This might sound clichΓ©d Dave, but one foot in front of the other, step by step, each day, moving forward is an incremental journey, people you don't even know care about you a lot, it's part of human nature to want to be loved, and you are, you bring joy to people who are in situations much the same as yours, you wear your heart on your sleeve and share it for all to see, keep your mind and soul occupied, I'll share a small piece that you may take or leave but here it is anyway. "When it all gets you down, Remind yourself, Down is the best place from which to get back up".
Great to see you back Dave – Peace and love mate x
what a cute pup β€
Beautiful lad! Good call Dave.
Nice Dog, there are areas now where you can pay to rent a area so they can run muzzle free off leads π
Glad to see a video and not mention the past.
Forward from now on.
My nephew has two of these dogs, mother and daughter, to keep them , both had to be spayed and they have to comply with the restrictions… on the other side of the coin there have been recent events local to me where the same breed of so called 'family' dogs have killed toddlers and babies in prams ,heartbreaking … so I can see both sides….. Good to see you out and about…. nothing better than being out there and doing something for someone else…. What about RNIB puppy walking /training ???
It would be smashing to see another dog on the allotment Dave. Hope you consider getting one π
Dave, he's awesome!!!! Just expose him to love and great treats and keep him safe! XxxxX ( Bliltong for dogs – best quality meat soaked in basilico vinegar for overnight then cut into bite sizes and dehydrate for 3 to 4 hours – he will love you for it! No salt or e numbers totally safe! God Bless! XxxX HE TOTALLY ROX!
Lovely dog! Good on ya Dave keeping busy.
Sorry Dave but I can't agree with you about the dog. He looks like a very nice dog but as you said he's only a puppy and is hard to handle now, what would he be like when fully grown. I don't understand why anyone would want such a powerful dog as a pet.
It's not fair to be breeding these dogs knowing that they can't have quite the normal life a dog could have. What's the point. And trying to feed him through the muzzle,a bit frustrating. He's only a pup at the moment, what will he be like when fully grown. Yes it's not fair. But dogs are good for getting you out, and can help you. ATB
Such a shame π’
Dog therapy works wonders, and Al will benefit from your expert training too. Nice update Dave.
Heβs a lovely dog.
Beautiful doggy, shame it has to be muzzled π’
Two handsome boys !!!
The nurseries will be filled with good gals here soon Dave. Good to see you as always
Absolutely beautiful – I have a cross American bulldog and they look very similar – she has such a sweet disposition
Hate to be the one that doesnt agree with you. Those dogs are dangerous. They have a habit of being nice as pie one minute but devil dogs the next. Two just killed a women here in Essex.
I owned a pitbull staffie back in the day. When everyone was loosing their noses and being eaten alive. We had to do the same. Tattoed, insured , muzzled. Protect the general public.
I know only takes one or two to get a bad name. Most soppy loving dogs.
Its difficult. A bit like gun laws and killings in america. Least we try to stop attacks. No offence to anybody ment. And yes Dave does look happier. Sorry about the rant, nice beard. Growing one myself and going up north on holiday.
A he is a lovely pup Dave you should just keep him, You can tell he really likes you and it would do you good. Just tell your mate he ran away and he is gone , and you should just let him off the lead and take his muzzle off , He wants you to , so he can play proper like .π
Glad you are getting out dave and taking your friend's dog a walk x
Your mate can't walk very far, so he gets a dog. Thick as fuck.
Use this as a WE LOVE DAVE button
What a beautiful dog. Good that you are able to walk him.
