  1. And Disney took this epic story and dumbed it down to being nothing more than the side story for a romance between dogs and winning against a jealous possessive, abusive gym bro.😭

  2. They hold the Iditarod sled race annually to commemorate the event! A bunch of sled dog teams follow the route that they did years ago from Anchorage to Nome

They had an Air Buddies movie about it (Snow Buddies)

  3. I just realized… if these cups have scars, they had to have fought people. I thought they just ate people’s hands, not actually fight em. Also, some of them have bandages so who is the cup doctor?

  4. There is a statue of Balto up here. And they hold dog sled races in Anchorage during Furondy(the celebration leading up to the Iditarod) where they also have running with reindeer.

  5. I can't attempt to write this, because tears but here you go:
HachikoĀ was a real dog who lived in Tokyo in the early 1900s.Ā After his owner passed away, he continued to wait for his owner at a train station everyday. Hachiko became famous for his loyalty and devotion.
