guys, how hard would be for you to use a different approach to recording this games? its quite hard, at least for me, to follow the gameplays. Love your content and your approach to it!
The singing? Tolkein wrote the book for his children
Yes Crim did use nuclear weaponry this game. Mana drain, Cyclonic Rift all are prohibited by Geneva Conventions… but he literally played Sauron as his commander what did you expect people?
#banrift can you imagine a 3h game ending in rift
At a certain point it should be better to just let the commander go to a graveyard and retrieve it with eternal witness and play it for a normal cost.
Tom 'the Bomb'-adil is an amazing 5 colour Enchantress commander, don't listen to Richard! There is also Sanctum Weaver if you want a budget Serra Sanctum, there are certainly playable Sagas, but they are slowish I guess?
Seth dropping all these 'Argon' references (very on brand!) makes me wonder how long we'll have to wait for Secret Lair: Periodic Table, I hear Palladium is totally going to be busted, too bad the radioactive isotopes don't stick around long enough.
Tarantulas are poisonous to their prey I think, but they're not really dangerous to people, just creepy if you don't like spiders. You generally should worry more about dainty looking spiders than heavy duty ground pounders, same with most venomous things, stuff that's really toxic doesn't need to be big, vigorous or tough, but it's often gaudy as a head's up, black widow spiders have a red marking for example. That just made me think of overly dramatic (aka super toxic) people who like to dress flashy haha.
Oh man, thats one or two wipes too many for my taste ๐
HUGE W fpr team crim, sandbagging the cyc rift was LIT good job crim
Crim loudly complaining about his Commander not sticking around while Tomer wallows in despair is hilarious
Guided Passage is severely underrated. If you play with new people, they get to see your cool deck and make interesting deals. If you play with friends, they already know every card in your deck after a few games, so no downside. You are guaranteed a land drop, and two cards that advance your game plan. If they are shortsighted, they'll give you every "bad" card in your deck. If they are smart, they'll let you pay mana to get rid of something that hurts both of you.
Venomous! Not poisonous.
You guys are too casual, you need to run more interaction. Tomer's Aragorn was active for far too many turns.
I loved this episode. I hope next one is another 3 hours LotR themed video, just so we can have a trilogy lol
Sage advice: "Play more removal." This game: "NOOO!!!"
The LOTR length continues! Great games, folks! I can't wait for budget – and at $25 to boot, I might just brew my own list as if I were a guest
A good game ruined with a bad card. Ban Rift.
Sethโs mispronunciation of Aragorn is oddly fitting.
Richard, Iโve built a Tom Bombadil deck thatโs more focused on adding and removing counters from sagas, as well as flickering them. When you can double up on saga triggers, they go from mediocre to quite good!
28:41
No.
Richard and seth rated the Dark Lord as B, while crim and (absent) tomer rated it S, I'm pretty sure.
There were Editor rant notes for the next 5 cards on how seth and Richard could possibly rate something else higher a card later.
And yes, B is not respecting it.
Another week of seth hard targeting tomer and letting crim win
Old format was better
Crim still blows
Seth, can you not flicker your cards when you are main viewpoint? – makes me seasick!
I'm over an hour into the game and nothing has progressed because everything keeps getting wiped or removed. Lmao!!!
Next time everyone has to play a budget list except Tomer.
I'm impressed. Seth pronounced his commander right.
This haaaate every time these guys call him "Aragon" and they just keep doing it and nobody is correcting them
At 2:02:00, sweetgum recluse lets you put 3 counters on any number of creatures that entered the battlefield that turn. Seth could have put Counters on both Fynn and the spider.
As someone who loves spiders in commander and has a bit of knowledge about spiders, it bugs me to see Seth play this deck tbh ๐
(Even if spiders aren't considered bugs, lol)
Please consider playing Cadira, Caller of the Small, with a bunch of Food and other unconventional tokens. Or Jaheira with something for a background. I want to see Food being useful, specially with the LotR new cards.
with how well the dark lord performed it would be interesting to see a commander clash episode where each player is playing a commander to defend the rank they gave it that the other players disagreed on e.g. richard and seth didnt think this version of sauron was S tier threat and now realise it
last march looks at the butt, not power…So sethh wouldve drawn 4 at 1:55:00
tomer showing clearly that every deck needs ways to exist without the commander in play
Friendly reminder, there are 2 A's and 2 R's in his name. The last True King is, in fact, not a noble gas
Just starting the video I LOVE ARAGORN lets go tomer!!
Man, here's hoping one day the Tom n Jerry style antics will stop. It's always the exact same game – Crim and Seth desperately trying to relentlessly dismantle Tomer while he's so far from being the threat.
24:40 An edict would not take care of Sauron. He would amass 1 when you cadt it and sac the token.
Really liking the new editing style of late. Good switch up guys, more effort and energy into the intros, great production and content guys!
the new style of videos is sort of offputting to me. i like the neutral noise in the your videos, and it sort of puts me out of the mood to watch if there's a little jingle playing at the beginning. (i also love the longer and slightly awkward deck intros. one of my favorite parts of your videos)
I'm listening to this at work and when Traverse the Outlands brought up the ole basic land debate I said "the proof is in the pudding" literally 5 seconds before Tomer did lol
What a clown show
Iโm not a fan of intros on this new video format.
Feels corny..
I like the your old shit a lot
Awesome game! But dang that was a lot of wipes ๐ Sauron is definitely the pre-game archenemy though. Such a strong Commander even if you choose to build around his jankiest mode (amass)
Sagas are pretty meh but I also question the ones Richard decided to include in his deck. I built tom for brawl and still didn't have to stoop as low as some of those he was running.
I LOVE guided passage lol yes tomer!
We love you here in the comments, Crim โค – haters gonna hate.
PRAISE BE UNTO CRIM
Was Seth trying to tilt the viewers with the way he says the lotr cards names?
