Russia cannot "leave Ukraine" as long as major powers define "Ukraine" as including Crimea. Crimea's autonomy was violated in 2014 and will be again, there is every reason to expect genocide / ethnic cleansing in Crimea immediately upon the Ukro-Nazis taking over.
