Lol Saudi Arabia ain’t going to far
Argentina they are a nation that F*** up 50 % of the time in tournaments,. since 1950 : Argentina where knocked out in the group stages 3 times , round of 16: 4 times Quarter final : 4 times never knocked out in a semi-final and reaching the final 4 times .
that is a 3-4-4-0-4 distribution. it seems they muck up the tournament up to the quarter finals 73% of the time . they win the quarter final they always reached the final .
Saudi Arabia will not go far . we all remember 1994 they had a great run in to the round of 16 , in a group with Belgium , Netherlands Marroco . with 3 teams on 6 points beeing knocked out by sweden . and players suddenly disapeared and in to jail for celebrating their wins a bit to extravagant . and never getting out of the group stages again ,
Actualy that was a real good tournament for underdog teams. Romania , Sweden , Bulgaria , Nigeria ,ireland , belgium , saudi arabia , Brazil argentina , Germany ,Netherlands , Italy , Spain , Switserland, Mexico , USA reaching the round of 16 and having Sweden, Bulgaria , Brazil and italy in the semi-finals with brazil and italy only winning with 1 goal difference , of sweden and bulgaria .
