  1. Just finished all in. That was pretty cool, dude! The burn holes on page 16, that give you a sneek peak at what's on page 16 in the reverse story!? Comic books should do that more. Take advantage of their unique medium. Tell stories in unique ways that can only be done in that medium. Digital comics should do that, too. Take advantage of that unique medium as well. How awesome would it be if Marvel or DC hired some pop-up book artists?

Now im thinking of a character like zanadu or someone like that having a vision of the future and the way that's expressed in the comic is there's a thought bubble next to her head and inside the thought bubble is just a clear piece of plastic film that let's you see the next page.

  2. Hellboy the Crooked Man came out at my local cinema friday last. With wholly inconvenient performance times. And now it's gone already. It's on dvd in December though. Β£2.99 cheaper than a cinema ticket would have been. So it won't kill me to wait.

I really liked Folie a Deux. It didn't do what I expected. But I thought it was pretty good at what it did.

I'm still reading Saga, but I really don't find I care much about it anymore. The gaps between issues means it feels like it's dragging. I think it might read a bit better in trade

  3. Got sucked in by another live stream so I really couldn't hang out. Didn't pick Hyde Street but I did pick up Black Label Plas #2 because of your issue #1 review. Still don't own All In Special. Probably will have to buy it off the internet.

  4. Super Sasha, do you ever do the Live Chats at any other time besides Saturday nights? It’s hard enough for me to catch them here in Germany anyway, but Saturdays are particularly difficult to navigate the opportunity. πŸ˜–

  5. Hey Sasha or anyone who's tried GlobalComix, is it set up like the Marvel and DC apps where you have access to the entire library, or do you have to buy individual comics within the app to read them. I heard Global will now have DC along with the indies, which makes it kind of irresistible.

  6. Whoever said DD should have stayed dead, which time? The first time which led to one of my personal runs in the 80s? Or Shadowland or the end of Chip's run? I can't argue against Shadowland since it led into Mark Waid's run, again another favorite. But for current DD, yeah. He doesn't feel like Matt.

  7. I agree. While certain eras (mainly the '66-'94 years covering the tail end of the Silver Era, all of the Bronze Era, and the beginning of the so-called Modern Era) speak to me more than others, there are great things to take away from all of them. I think certain publishers and certain genres come through stronger depending on what is happening in society.
