Good morning platoon, here's the fun facts for the weekend: Ren and Stimpy…. The voices of Ren and Stimpy based their inflections on old- school actors – one serious and one comedic. Ren sounded quite like Peter Lorre, while Stimpy 's voice resembled that of Three Stooges nitwit Larry Fine. In several episodes,it is mentioned that Ren and Stimpy live in Hollywood. That is Hollywood, Yugoslavia. The characters featured a variety of exaggerated poses and expressions as well jokes about bodily functions. Ren and Stimpy withstood tremendous physical damage, such as having their tails cut off or teeth rot out, only to have their conditions revert to normal by the next episode. Their clashing personalities and motivations meshed to create what viewers believed to be one heck of a funny cartoon show. That is why they are one of the greatest comedy teams in the history of television cartooning.
