Satellite Imagery Shows FIVE Destroyed Helicopters at Berdyansk Air Base After ATACMS Strike

An update on the ATACMs strike in Berdyansk, satellite imagery shows that the ATACMS strike on Berdiansk Airfield destroyed at least five helicopters. No satellite imagery of Luhansk is available yet. There is also other signs of damage which could be other destroyed air frames. Also, we see a video of the ATACMS launch

  1. Can't help but seeing a 6th hit helicopter in that photo. Look between number 2 and 3 (from the left), closer to number 2, there seems to be a burn mark on the side of the runway as well. It seems a bit smaller than the others, but look at the distance from number 2 and the distance between the helicopters on the south side which are not hit, it fits with another helicopter. Perhaps that one didn't burn as much as the others, but I think there is something hit there.

  2. What if they have both ranges? It would make sense to first attack nearby, making Russia believe they only have the short range. Then, as stuff piles up in Crimea, hit them with the longer range version. Also: shorter version has more firepower

  3. Hi Thanks for all your great videos. Initial (hopefully) batch of ATACMS were probably the oldest ATACMS in the US inventory. Possible they will just provide the oldest stock as they get towards the end of their service life… time will tell. At least it will keep the Russians guessing so the threat value will be theire It might also be part of a behind the scenes deal with Germany to send some Taurus missiles ? Cheers Chris

  4. There is another video as of a few hours ago the shows the launch of 6 ATACMS, and im pretty sure its different than the 2 videos you showed here. Possible evidence to more than 12 missiles already having arrived?

  5. That parallel ATACMS attack on Luhansk the other day seems puzzling and may be worth an extra look?
    * It reportedly resulted in fires being even more extensive/extended than at the Berdiansk airfield.
    * However, while the FIRMS satellite service indeed shows recent fires at the Berdiansk airfield, there is no trace whatsoever of any recent fire at any airfield around Luhansk (such as the museum a few km to the east).
    * However, FIRMS shows indeed intensive simultaneous fires around Luhansk, but a few km to the west, in the village of Sabivka.
    * A short googling shows that Sabivka is an interesting location, as it has (1) two old mines, which are (2) abandoned, and it has (3) a railway, which (4) has direct connections to key sections of the front (such as Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Siversk), and all this (5) at the "ideal" distance of around 100 km…
    * It does not take much imagination to see its potential for a major logistic hub, such as an ammunition depot?
–> Anybody out there who wants to comment/work on all this…?

  6. Why complain about the range? It is just one type, in fact the ones used from the pictures of russian sources where 30 years old! Russian air defence failed to detect them. As to the numbers it may well be that they only got 12 300 KM rounds and a mix of the other shorter range munitions but with bigger warheads totalling 60 missles in this 1st delivery. Now we don't have to PAY to destroy/dismantle them. Also why complain about the age of the missle? The evidence is the US Army's 30 year old tech defeats current day Russian tech. That would hurt Russian weapon sales one would think. This winter it's going to be bad for Putin's meat. Stuck in one place with missiles raining down on them. Progress is being made by Ukraine.

  7. I love you but I don’t think this pic proves anything. If the ammo dump is where you indicated, then video is from the east and those helicopters nearest ppl videoing were not burning yet you’re saying northeast hit. And associated press is crap resource; no way 12 sent, that’s just silly

  8. Blurred photo dont show nothing, beside the runways are suspiciously clean…it seems that the attack has failed beside Russian ministry of defense told that 5 missile and 4 GLSD bombs were shot down.

  9. The US store of ATACMS was near their expiration date, scheduled for demolition. Instead of blowing them up, the Biden administration decided to give the lot of 'em to Russia, for free. Слава Україні!!! Героям слава!!!

  10. If a missile hits the fuel train, it will probably leave a mess of destroyed cars in a locomotive, probably more than they are probably used to fixing quickly. Something like if they hit a tag with one missile, they will await repair crews, trying to tow it away, and then send another missile to target to repair crew, which has all the skilled talent. You can apply the same thing to a specialist who work repairing Russia’s railroads.

  11. Would be great if this was just to test the waters as you've said. Now that they're proven effective the newer variants of ATACMS or on their way in secret as we speak. 🙏🙏

  12. Gering is rolling around his grave yelling: "putin, gerasimiv, don't lose your aviation over the atlantic!".

But he seems to be buried too deeply for his plea to be heard in Kremlin.

    O well.
