Another uninformed take by Pat. The giants didn’t pull his offer because they signed jones. They made him a bonafide offer above the franchise tag that he turned down. Then jones signed and they had no choice but to tag him

Play 10 games no injury then pull a Lamar and sit the rest of the season. If he plays lights out those first 10 games he’ll get a deal elsewhere
If he didn't miss any games, he would have a strong case. However, over the last 4 seasons, he missed 20 games…he's gotta understand why they are hesitant lol

Running back is by far the best position in my opinion but that position takes the most punishment by a mile. Sucks to say but they are also pretty easy to find. Good luck to saquon but looks like it’s another laveon bell situation.

Daniel Jones threw for 3k and ran for 700 yards. Saquan had 1300rushing and 350 receiving. Imo by all means was saquan the entire offense lol😅😅😅 Danny ain't a supers star don't get me wrong but he did contribute himself not like he was just hitting play action bombs because saquan was so dominant running

IMO, the real problem is the franchise tag, and what a terrible piece of negotiating it was by the player representatives. You should either be in a contract or a free-agent, or the franchise tag needs to me a multi-year deal with guaranteed money.
The Giants outbid nobody to sign a hack QB that they could have tagged and saved almost $10 mill (still more than he's worth). Instead they tagged their star RB and he's not happy. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
The Giants offered a contract worth 13-14 million a season, which would have made him one of the highest paid backs in the NFL and Saquon said "Nope".
Meanwhile Saquon missed nearly 50% of his entire rookie contract with injuries.
The Giants are screwed if they lose him.

Hi giant fan here, didn’t we offer Barkley a decent contract during the season for like 12-13 million or something like that and turn it down? And if he say he decides to sit out or even ask for a trade, Dalvin Cook in my eyes in just like Barkley and he’s only asking for 10 million, so other giant fans if we aren’t able to come to an agreement with Barkley should we try to get some draft picks for him and try to sign cook or should we not do that?

Giants rushing numbers were as good as they were (as a team) because of Jones too tho lol. Take out the QB production and the giants are bottom 8 in rushing
Our o line is way better now then when DJ and Saquon came into the league . That's one of the reasons Danny dimes wasn't playing well and that's definitely why saquon kept getting hurt. It's a non-issue now or at least no more chance of getting hurt bad than anyone else on the field
