  1. Would try some of the restaurants including the Cheese Cake 🍰 to. 400-900 yen is $3.18-754🇺🇸. They should have a mail system where you can by and send your package 📦 back home 🏡 or where you live in 🇯🇵 like The Mail Of America does. Hope you can go back when things are open for tourists and travel 🧳 again. 👍🇯🇵📸✈️ No issue with video interruptions either.

  2. Uk/ Europe have a carry-on weight allowance too, think its around the same amount… I thought it was the 'norm' ? But anything after you have gone through check-In, like Duty-Free, shops etc is not added into it.. So you can buy things to going home…

  3. Those poor shop owners and employees.
Hopefully the heartless politicians who run Japan will wise up and open up the country to foreign tourists so thier citizens will thrive again.

  4. I was at this airport in early 2017 waiting for my return flight to Canada. On one of the upper floors there was a pop-up store selling Hatsune Miku merch because of course Sapporo is Miku-chan's home town. I ended up with a Miku Play Button which is a wearable button/MP3 album player.

  5. I’m super excited for Japan to open their borders for tourists. Japan is my top choice among countries that i would visit again. I already allotted part of my savings for a travel to japan.

  6. My wife is a flight attendant and I’ve been fortunate to have been there several times.
Awesome ramen and cheesecake, my two favorite things in life! Yes the Royce chocolate potato chips are terribly addictive. If you open the box you’ll end up mowing through it all in one sitting.

  8. I flown Peach round trip from hkg to Tokyo and it was ok. On the way back to hkg, there were peach employees that walked around to see if there might be any carry ons that might be “too big”, oversized, or heavy. If they saw one, they just ask you to consider sending your carry on as a luggage free of charge. But you didn’t have to. They asked me..lol. I stuffed way too much food from 7-11.

  9. ROYCE’ chocolates at 4:25. Those potato chip chocolates are really addictive. We have numerous standalone ROYCE’ stores here in Manila and price is doubled. If those are priced at 700 yen, here it is around 1,400 yen due to customs, duties and taxes plus international shipping. I spoke to a staff here in Manila and there are shipments of ROYCE’ chocolates flown from Sapporo to Manila on a weekly basis.

  10. Me personally I would've loved it if you would get the ramen. I don't mind the no talking, the experience of it and the atmosphere would be amazing for those of us that can't be there

  11. Hi John. Sapporo is one of the many places I would love to visit one day. And watching this stream and seeing all the many choices of food this airport has makes me want to go there just to spend time shopping. Loved your Hokkaido livestreams! Can't wait for more fun livestreams.

  12. Weight balance is really important on a plane. Weight distribution has to be calculated in front. As you John mentioned multiple times… there is a difference how each person can weight so those calculations are not exact already. Add +-1kg for each out of 100 passengers and you can suddenly have 200kg difference between front and back of the plane. Or even worse, left and right side. That is a serious thing which affects the flight and you know how disastrous can a mistake be on a plane. This is why you can be re-seated before a flight. The quotas are there for a reason and strictly following the rules makes flight a very secure way of transport. Please be a responsible person and follow those rules. And please please please… be a responsible influencer. Do not spread those ideas if you are not aware of consequences.

    EDIT:
Be as well aware that lion batteries are also a potential fire hazard. Especially if you don't know who brings some cheap chinese lion notebook/phone on a board that will just go off. Fire and smoke on a plane is the last thing you want to experience. If you need more that the rules allow you…. just take more suitable way of transport.

  13. Thanks John for bringing life to a rather somewhat empty airport!? Gonna watch the narita one to make a comparison! These are great videos as it's the first place we see when we land at a new country!
