***Beach walk was recorded in 2021 from Sanibel & Captiva Islands. I just thought it would be more enjoyable to watch a beach instead of me in my office while I give you news updates. Thank you***

Been enjoying your updates. Was in Sanibel exactly 9 years ago from the 26th to the 15th.. had no idea it was hurricane season while we were there. Since then, I had been considering buying a home there and relocating. It's a really special peaceful place.. not sure if i'd buy there now. Visit again, yes. Much healing to all and the island & all areas devastated by Ian.
On the mold issue.. it's kinda a big deal.. yes the residents need to remediate their homes asap.. mold is a serious issue. I would think most water damaged homes should be a total loss though, as that much water damage will likely never be safe to live around with the likelihood a homeowner will not be able to get it all remediated unless everything is stripped down to the frame.
Great full info thank you for this.
Any word on expected full restorations of the roads, power, and normal service?
Mail, trash pick up, any markets going up??? To provide food for residents???
End of this month for temporary causeway repair is promising. Also good news for the folks on Pine Island.
