that "dynamic island" thing might not look as good on s24 Ultra than on s24 and s24+ cause the shape of the ultra is boxy , it will look a bit off to have pill shaped style notifications with boxy corners . Like the google pill widget doesn't look as good on ultra for this exact reason , i wish we could modify those shapes while choosing widgets , that'd be a cool feature and bring more customization to One UI. I have the feeling that One UI is having a little identity crisis while other OS are getting really good. Smoother animations will be very welcomed though

Hey, I think what they've added are nice, except for the icons. I think they can do better, in my opinion. One thing I want them to focus more on are app features. Such as the gallery, for example. It's needs a revamp in the sense of adding features like (1) 'improved search functionality' by adding a search button in each album. (2)'Remember last location' while exiting an album instead of scrolling back. (3) 'Multiple photo select and rename at the same time instead of one by one. (4) 'Customisable column count: which can be added in the Galaxy labs section. These are my suggestions because I'm a photographer and I use my gallery app a lot. So, what so you think?
Icons are Shit. The theme of settings is shit, literally left miui because of their theme, i guess samsung won't let me.

Yeah apple would of started up a Massive issue if android claims to have a similar look.. but at the same time. Based on speculation iOS has took a couple Pages from Android and claimed a number of situations where they want to Act and feel like android. So I'm not surprised if 7.0 has a Apple vibe
They need to fix notification gesture hints. I sold my s22 and went back to note 20 because of it. FIX IT โ

Excited for this, i think they could've done a bit of better job with the new icon designs, and the seperation of notifications and quick toggles is something i do not like, but i'm glad they're finally refreshing their UI, something that's long overdue

I always loved Samsung because of it being itself.
But lately, from software to hardware they are trying to make everything like apple.
I might as well move to Iphone now cause if that's what Samsung will keep bringing on table, than why not get one they are trying to become
