Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 Review | Great Against All Odds

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 was supposed to be dead on arrival, being both late to the market and more expensive than the competition. Despite everything working against it, the OLED G8 manages to impress, even if it isn’t quite worth list price.

  1. Samsung needs to fix QC on monitors. Mine had a faulty mini DP port. Also why put non -standart ports on a PC monitor. Good luck finding a decent micro HDMI to HDMI cable😂

  2. Lol gotta love Samshit. They really have a lot of Confidence in the display providing a 1 year warranty for a 1.500$. Monitor . Never buy anything Samsung it won’t last past the warranty or 2 years . Horrible quality company .

  3. What about DRM for TizenOS? Most streaming services limit content to 1080p maximum on a web browser due to software DRM being terrible. To get 4K you need hardware DRM available on phones, STBs, TVs, etc.. Can you watch in 4K using the built in apps?

  4. Good looking monitor. Not sure why they keep choosing to skimp on the inputs and do weird stuff gambling with potential buyers decision. I've heard it all why that doesn't matter bc of xyz but seriously why not spend an extra $50 or whatever and make sure there's nothing to criticize and get the sale for sure?

  5. i got the g8, after dell didn't manage to deliver me the Alienware in once piece after 5 attempts… realistically not much between the two for me, both look and perform great. But crucially for me the samsung arrived undamaged ( due to it having a plastic peel on the screen when the alienware doesn't.

  6. Idk why it wasn’t discussed but this monitor is NOT for AMD graphics cards. The brightness only hits those numbers on nvidia cards not AMD. Check out monitors unboxed for their readings on it. If you have an amd card stay far far away from this.

  7. Cryptocurrency is volatile. Diversifying your portfolio is a sensible strategy. For example, I have deposits on Binance where I engage in trading, also staking on Kraken, investing in companies like Cannafarm Ltd, and I also participate in liquidity pools

  8. Are cryptocurrency and business incompatible? I think youre not keeping up with the news. While you thought it was impossible, some enthusiasts from Cannafarm Ltd integrated cryptocurrency into the production of medical cannabis. What do you say now?

  9. Wait, do you think cryptocurrency will crash? I dont think so. More and more companies are integrating cryptocurrency into their operations: Amazon, Cannafarm Ltd, Burger King, even Starbucks, dude!
