  1. That Hawthorn offer was a very good offer for pick 1.
    I don't think West Coast are going to be willing to move lower than pick 2 though and miss on Curtin.

  2. I liken Ben McKay’s decision to leave North Melbourne like selling a long term stock at the very bottom just before it starts it’s upwards trajectory. So in other words you’ve left it too late and now missing out on the gains and taking a risk elsewhere that may see you go back down again. North are almost guaranteed to improve from here with so much gathered top end young talent. Going to Essendon or Sydney he’s risking no man’s land.

  3. If Port or Sydney take on Melbourne’s money responsibilities going forward then I see the Grundy deal happening. If they don’t why would Melbourne get rid of the only other ruckman on their list? Gawn is getting on in age and missed 6weeks this year with knee injury. Not sure they’d be happy having no ruck backup and paying some of his wage. They aren’t in a salary dump situation.
