  1. Did a few VHRTs yesterday together with others from a Caterpillar and Carrack and I have to say it's the most fun I've had in 3.19 yet.
The rest was just me loosing modules and cargo to 30k errors…

  2. You nailed it with the opening comment, I love putting vehicles in my ships. It feels real! But yeah feel being low is right, but any hangar or garage should be able to refuel. Ships have fuel scoops, why wouldn’t the larger ones with vehicle bays allow refuel?

  3. I just want to point out it was 2019 when we saw pyro…. 4 years ago? Where is it? Its also funny that they release salvage and break one of the only two salvage ships in the game

  4. Then CIG could make fuel really expensive, and traders would make heaps trading it around, then pirates could steal it, sell it if they want but actually use it too. Hahaha wtf that'd be sick.

  5. I see the snub advantage being that you can do a more extreme shift on how you use your crew with snubs than with light fighters.
Let's say you bring out a Polaris for example. You can maybe carry few Arrows there, but let's say you end up in a scenario where the Polaris can't afford to engage because there's some hard counter anti-capital presence on the field.
What if every man aboard that vessel could suddenly be turned into a fighter pilot? Because you can carry enough snubs to do that and all it takes is space from cargo hold. You won't even need dedicated hangar and you can do this with most ships now thanks to the Fury.

Not saying Fury is a good pick, but it's definitely a card you can pull.

  6. I would like to see Astro Chronicles Starfarer Carrier become reality for these then they would be a viable snub. Otherwise they are just a weaponized escape pod.

  7. How is looking for mineables gonna work with this if you're out of fuel in 15 mins combat out of atmo? You have less than 10 minutes in atmo…

I'm sorry but this ship is underpowered and the miniature fuel tank and engines literally breaking to the point of flatspin getting hit just once or twice is insane.

  8. People forget that in Pyro THEIR WONT BE MANY LIGHT FIGHTERS , most engagements will be from medium to large ships only, this ship it for those situations, when you can only fit 2 arrows on an 890 others can get 4 furys in a cat or a carrack , in Pyro you'll have to transport your fighters and when you can bring more guns to a fight than your competitors. You might win that medium to large ship fight

  9. Pyro will be the age of fleet battles and naval style combat , since the only ships that can properly navigate that area are larger ships , the fury will come in clutch at Pyro where when the only light fighters you can have in a fight , are those that you brought with you on a bigger ship

  10. No c2 should not get refuelling its cheaty not what that ship is for if they seperate fuel into avionic fuel and ground fuel then i would agree with a certain amt for ground refuellers

  11. of course carriers aren't ready. There ARE NO carriers duh. No game play, no mechanics. ALL they did was add a ship small enough but armed enough to warrant the hassle of landing/launching.

The C2 should NOT refuel. It's a cargo ship, that's it. Its the exact equivalent of a C17 which also cannot fuel vehicles. This is what the starfarer is for btw.

  12. 6:08 I disagree: an operational carrier is what manages a combat wing, but an air transport just do that: a C5 galaxy carries 2 tanks, or helicopters, but does not refuel or manage them on the field. The fact that we only have Hercules in game at the moment should not mean it should become what was never supposed to be.

  13. I see the Fury as an ideal AI station defense ship, to replace the 'Brown & Rabiee' defense turrets and fixed gun emplacements they have now. In close proximity to the stations, the limited fuel and ammo isn't a problem, and the AI can swarm them at hostiles and losses are not a problem.

For players, there are generally better options.
