I think the scouters being unable to read Saitama is actually a reference to Child Emperor’s mask-device which couldn’t read him (in fact it cracked trying to so it couldn’t read King either). In truth that mask itself was likely a reference to scouters in DBZ….so this just came around full circle in this manga

It always baffles me on how saiyans can be widely accepted as solor or galaxy level beings when they can't survive above the stratosphere (void space) 😭. Tells a lot about their fanbase, bunch of kids ignoring all common sense
Seems like timeline and scaling so many characters may have caused the author to give up on it too soon. It's actually quite entertaining in a good way. Often times, we stumble upon brilliance and lose our confidence because we make mistakes. And those of us who do that don't realize that the mistakes are what make the work so good. Saitama is an oddity in general, so it makes sense that the Dragon Ball multiverse is all mixed up with him in it. He doesn't know anything about it and wouldn't know anything was wrong, the reader knows that as well, and the adventure is interesting because the timeline is all jumbled. It doesn't need to be precise, just fun.
