Saints-Bucs post-game therapy pod: It's over. Let it all out.

The Saints are now the team that loses this type of game, and Tom Brady made sure to twist the knife. Jeff Nowak is here to commiserate on tonight’s postgame Inside Black & Gold. Let it all out.

  1. As a Buccaneer fan I loved that ending! I couldn't stop watching despite being down 16 to 3. I just wanted to see if we could score a touchdown. I never expected Brady to pull out a miracle like that. That's the most impressive comeback of his Buccaneer career. This exceeds the comeback against the Rams a few weeks ago. Brady had to go 91 yards on the first drive for the first touchdown. Then they stopped the Saints in only 31 seconds to get the ball back. And Brady was absolutely masterful on that final drive. He wasn't even deterred by the holding penalty on Donovan smith. He was relentless. Unstoppable. Amazing game.

  2. The Buccaneers had to have this game! Even with the victory it makes us 6 and 6. And we have some tough games remaining. We will probably lose to the 49ers and the Bengals. There are no guarantees we will win this division. But I hope we do. I've become a huge Tom Brady fan. It would be nice to get into the playoffs. Anything can happen there. Win or lose it's an honor to win the NFC south. But that has definitely not been determined yet.

  3. The Saints played a very good ball game. Nobody could have predicted that Buccaneer furious comeback. It's just one of those games. I'm sure it was devastating for Saints fans. The Buccaneers experienced one like that against the Cleveland Browns last week. We had that game in our back pocket but Todd Bowles played way too conservative and gave Cleveland the opportunity which they took advantage of. It was heartbreaking. Sickening. Oh the life of a pro football fan.

  4. The Saints should probably give James Winston some playing time now! They really need to find out just what kind of player he can be. There's a chance he might pan out and prove himself. There's nothing much to gain anymore by continuing to play Andy dalton. Winston deserves a shot and it would be smart. Otherwise he's going to play somewhere else next year and the guy still has potential. He's been playing injured. The Saints could platoon the quarterbacks. But I would start Jameis Winston. See if he provides a spark. See if he has learned anything. I don't think he's been given a fair chance in New orleans. Andy Dalton has played quite well for a backup. But he's not the long-term answer that's for sure. There's still a chance that James Winston really is that long-term answer. And you won't know if you don't put him in there.

  5. Great points and appreciate the brutal honesty. They are stuck with DA for the remainder of this year and (probably) next. If they get rid of him in the short term, they'll never get anyone decent to coach this team. They'll only get the "2nd tier guys" that nobody else wants.

  6. But this is the mess shun Payton left the mess he left and created with bad contracts not funding the quarterback and then quit on the team but nobody says that now he's in tv waiting on a loaded team to go to

  7. What makes you think our Saints will beat the FAILcons? LOL.. The Falcons can score 20+ points on an average Defense, and last night showed us the Saints can't do the same.. If the Saints can't walk away from this season sweeping the FAILcons, DA and PC need to go immediately…

  8. It looks to me like there's a rift between players and head coach. How else can you explain the mental lapses? Drops? Lack of noticeable effort? I can't figure out why you throw on 3rd and 1 or 2 instead of letting Taysom and the line QB sneak. Since Allen lied about Jameis being healthy but Andy gave the offense better flow, this team has not played in one accord. Maybe they're losing to get Dennis Allen fired. Makes sense to me. I'm not saying they dislike The Red BB Gun; I'm saying their attitudes towards winning changed when they realized their coach is a liar. And don't get me started on that adolescent, no-balls play calling by Pete Carmichael. Yuck.

  9. Dennis Allen has said the same s..t every post game interview…we should off…we gotta….. Just a broken record…a season of disappointment and poor performance every week. I dont know of one great game this season. Raiders game was ok. Man, you never know how good you got it until it's gone.

  11. My son took the film of the incomplete pass to Taysom frame by frame. He told me the details and said no one could have made that play. That was not a catchable ball. The smash sandwich was massive and before Taysom could secure the ball it was punched away. I told my son Taysom would be blamed anyway. He said no one who watches carefully and knows football could believe that was catchable. Wish he was right.

  12. They say Winston can't get Kamara the ball like Dalton does. Yet, Kamara scored more passing tds in 7 games with Winston last year than in 10 games with Dalton this year.
