Since the game has mulyiplayer I think they kind of missed an opertunity to let you link Islands. I get if the mechanics don't allow it, but I think it would have been a good feature. Esentially build a floating continent 🙂
Dont know if anyone told you, but the reason you're out of charcoal a lot, is because it autodeposits in the wood storage
