The Red Carpet of Blood

As the SADC summit approaches and Emmerson Mnangagwa rolls out the Red Carpet of Blood and terror, it is important for Africans to be aware that there are over 100 Zimbabwean political prisoners held in connection with this summit, starting from June 16, by Zimbabwean dictator Emmerson Mnangagwa.

One of these prisoners has been so severely tortured that doctors fear he may suffer permanent kidney damage, but Mnangagwa has refused to allow him medical treatment.

Another pro-democracy prisoner, a mother, is in jail with her one-year-old child, highlighting the cruelty of the Zimbabwean tyrant.

Namatai Kwekweza, another prisoner, was abducted from a plane, held incommunicado for over eight hours, and jailed without bail.
She is accused of a crime supposedly committed on June 27, despite evidence showing she was in South Africa at that time.

There is no rule of law in Zimbabwe.
The judiciary is led by Chief Justice Luke Malaba, who was appointed unconstitutionally by the tyrant.

The unconstitutional appointment of Malaba is a grave concern and a clear indicator of the erosion of the rule of law in Zimbabwe.
This appointment, made by Mnangagwa in defiance of constitutional guidelines, further undermines the independence of the judiciary and threatens the rights of Zimbabwean citizens.

Malaba’s appointment was intended to facilitate the prosecution and persecution of pro-democracy activists by the tyrant using the corrupted court system.

SADC leaders are entering a situation marked by these egregious human rights violations, carried out by the dictator in their name.

  2. Imi vanhu stop insulting and provoking ZANU-PF by meddling in their OWN party's internal affairs and spreading malicious fabrications about its leadership. In case you have forgotten: ZANU-PF is a LEGITIMATE, REGISTERED AND INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED AND ACCEPTED as a Political party with a very COHERENT PARTY CONSTITUTION which clearly spells out how leaders are chosen, when, by who, why and how. Zimbabwe Constitution provides for freedom of association. There are some people who genuinely love ZANU-PF and would love to see them fulfill their long overdue national development agendas without unjustified and unfair cyberbullying meant to curtail/frustrate progress. In a nutshell: the fact that His Excellency is the PRESIDENT of Zimbabwe means that that is what LOYAL and Bonafide members of the PARTY want…I am sure you recall that some people, nominated him, campaigned for him and DID vote for him and He was duly sworn in…his position as a LEGITIMATE CURRENT SITTING NATIONAL LEADER AND STATESMAN is YET to be successfully challenged on REASONABLE AND CONVINCING grounds…I THINK for non-ZANU-PF people to wish away the President by all means and any means is criminal, terroristic and unconstitutional…right now it is not clear just what some elements in Zimbabwe and beyond want: they complain that crime and lawlessness have reached unprecedented alarming levels; government decides to PATROL and CLOSELY Investigate the alleged crimes that are often attributed to them, using the NATIONAL SECURITY ORGANISATIONS and people STILL have a problem with that??? As far as I know, PATRIOTIC and enlightened Zimbabweans applaud government's current initiative to FISH out any rogue elements in society, without fear or favour because they have made EVERYBODY's lives HELL on earth… and I think have made good progress so far, admit, and it is still a problem??? Let us not be naive here, internationally, organised crime, particularly cybercrime, is a pain in the wrong place. Locally we all have been crying about magumaguma, rapists, mahwindi and their foul language ad bullying tactics, drug peddlers rapists, unscupulous spiritualists and religious leaders. I think if we are SERIOUS about making ZImbabwe a peaceful country with governable citizens, it would be in ALL our interests to co-operate with government and for ONCE appreciate them for HEEDING TO OUR LONG CRIES and FINALLY doing something to help us walk and sleep without fearing fellow human-beings, regardless of party affiliation…ZRP and ZDF are well respected as professional, if given the necessary support… that is why they are ALWAYS invited to join the UN peacekeeping missions, I think
