People in Texas have the right to secure property and possessions. Currently between the border and San Antonio there's something like 10k trespassing reports every couple of months and Texas citizens are willing to help. The last time the Texas Militias was at the border was 6 and 7 years ago with no incidents, it was not a problem to anyone. Asking the Supreme Court if a state can have a militia is silly why don't you ask the Supreme Court if it's possible for a Texas resident to make a citizens arrest while you're there, just ask them all kinds of common knowledge questions that everyone knows from high school class.
