Danger is everywhere as me & ThaGoldFox (AKA Foxter Gold) find ourselves constantly dying in this 5 hr stream! This video was filmed in 1080p but uploaded in 1440p to bypass the encoding and get a higher quality it also uses H265 to reduce bitrate cost without loss of quality I also figured i’d edit the stream condensed down to 1hr28mins and 10 seconds to make it more watchable.
The editing took me 25 1/2hrs together 30 mins of rendering editing over 2 days from 12 at noon till 2 am Monday then the same only till 3am on Tuesday!
As a result I had to cancel the Vanquish stream this week, Vanquish streams will be on Tuesdays starting next week & Prince of Persia will now be on Thursdays!
I won’t be editing those streams in 1440P as theres no need… but due to the pallet of Valheim’s colors & Youtube’s cheap encoding forces on you at 1080p(unless your a popular YTber) It doesn’t like high bit videos & will compress them by reducing the quality, the high colour variety Valheim has more detail meaning a higher file size so the encoding combats it by ruining the clarity!
Vanquish & SoTime’s pallet’s mostly mute so they suffer less
Valheim suffers looking more like 240p,
If you look to the last Valheim vid the quality is far worse than this!
I consider Valheim my flagship title as it’s something I play with friends, Vanquish & Prince of Persia are retro content so I’ll upload them in the same quality 1080p full stream through twitch’s export feature!
This video is a test to see if Edited will perform better on analytics if so I will be editing Valheim from now on which is why I shifted the other 2 further along so if I’m editing I have 2 days to do it before the vanquish stream!

I'm aware that chat is an issue and seeing that be static covering a large portion of the screen through the whole stream wasn't pleasant i've set it to a timer and shrunk it i've also made it brighter for easier viewing and I have also cropped the webcam as a box in a seperate scene cause I realised it's way wider than I need it to be and also setting the lightning to the scene allows me to manipulate them both in other scenes without accidentally selecting the frame affect so it makes moving the camera much easier!
The quality is spotty in parts it's to be expected it a twitch livestream and though I have an incredible 70 Upload speed I do not have an amazing gpu or weather in my region so things can sometimes get spotty at parts as is the unpredictable nature of live maybe one day I can use a seperate pc to stream while I record on my main but for now!
I will be doing more in future streams to gradually improve the experience for myself, Twitch viewers & YT viewers alike every little thing I can that being said it isn't my job it's a hobby so I don't take demands I'm a person not a zoo animal!
On that note my sleeping pattern got messed up and I stream when i'm just barely mentally functioning I got a condition that messes with my head and last time I attempted to do content when I had little sleep my brain tried to shut down I fell asleep too early yesterday evening the result I woke up at 1am and couldn't sleep so my sleeping pattern is about to be very different this may affect the stream times until I get back on track but I won't be streaming past 9 cause I share the house with my sibling and parents and last time I did streams the came in swearing not the least caring about the stream!
So to save myself from getting twitch banned I can't stream at night until I have the means to negate them even hearing me!
