  1. Can u give info on noise levels in idle, medium, high loads? Im looking for a high end workstation for my pro audio studio and i definitely dont want a jet engine for one. Noise levels matter the most to me. Thanks in advance

  2. I don't need to see more to ask the question WHY the Ryzen is not in more laptops, especially when it is so much cheaper? I cannot understand that. Is AMD so clumsy in it's cooperation with manufacturers? Is there some kind or oligopoly?

  3. Given the Zephyrus has second screen which also needs to be driven at least partially by software/hardware components, I really think Asus should have revived S17, maybe in 2 or 3 sizes like 14-16-18 inches to be on equal footing with the now popular dimensions for laptops, that would drop the extraneous load on the components for that extra screen, possibly boosting efficiency of power distribution and thus overall performance. Similarly, if either used RGB lights software-driven solutions, just dropping those and using simpler mobo driven options would net extra percentage points for those wanting to eke out all the performance out of those chips… Pity neither consumers nor Asus product managers understand that.

  4. Thank you for the comparison, I was looking for something like this to make my decision for the next laptop. Looking forward to the battery comparison, as other reviews suggested the Ryzen platform has significantly worse battery life compared to the previous gen. Some reviews even show shorter battery life than a corresponding Intel machine. This would mean that, even if the CPU is very good, the platform in itself has issues. Which would be a real shame..

  5. Cpu can run over 90 it's no problem as long as power draw and laptop chassis temp. Is under control it's good to go . Pricing or features such as I/o will be a deciding factor.

  6. My amd never boosts higher than the intel. Weird how urs says above 5000mhz all time cant be true. Check clock speeds while gaming for each core next time pls
