Special rubik'd cube, it changed the colour to match with other one from his left hand. When Simon mixed the cube the side facing up show 5 orange colour next to each other, then green (2) and white(2). However, when you compare the two cubs that particular pattern has gone.

I strongly suspect that the judges knew of the act and were playing along and even the algorithms were remembered by each of them, not an especially hard trick to do as long as the stage and its workers plays along.

Decent magic act, but you will notice that the cube only has 4 matching sides. He re shows the same sides twice. The first one and then 5th one, for example, just at different orientations. His hands stay in the same place and he does a fancy movement to make it look like he changed the sides. Still impressive though.
