Interesting that both men credited their wives for helping them get on track in the beginning. Appreciate that!! Very informative and necessary discussion.
envy is a horrible interviewer. he disturbs the flow of the conversation with his scripted questions. the great and thoughtful guest helps makes this an awesome conversation. Ryan is always a great interview.
Stand up is also high level critical thinking. That’s why they are typically the ones to spark these conversations or carry conversations in a new direction.
Such an inspiring interview. I absolutely adore Ryan Coogler’s story and work. I would love to collaborate with him one day ❤. Shout out to his wife for purchasing that script software.
Tbh i feel like the anthem is perfectly fine to me. It speaks about fighting for freedom. I don't care what the original people thoughts were. Nor should anyone else, because the words still apply today. And its great we can live in a very very very very imperfect and complicated country, but still be relatively free to live life how we want.
Damn I’ve never seen a Ryan Coogler interview and I love him..his bay accent, so down to earth even his humbling nervousness. Just him, who happens to be a beautiful storyteller, very inspiring ❤
Leonard you know nothing about basketball. Steph isn't or shouldn't be in anybody top 5. To be great you have to play both sides of the court. Lebron and MJ is 1 and two. Leonard you are the Donkey of the day.
The more I see interviews, the more I think I need to start a gofundme so that the Breakfast Club can offer breakfast. Lenard/Raashaun, I got a couple of dollars for breakfast for guests that actually come in during the morning. I'll take care of breakfast for guests the 2nd week of July. I may even offer mimosas for those who want it.
I wish people would have more of an appreciation for the historical significance of things. It’s like people have such a yearning to build, build, build they’re even reaching back in the past to build over that.
I will NEVER sing our National Anthem again, I only stand for my Dad who served 20 years in the military!
I love Ryan’s spirit! He’s humble and minds his business while getting work done for community ❤ an unproblematic King!

I absolutely love and appreciate Ryan's authenticity. Being in the industry has not changed who he is at the core of himself ❤👏🏾

Y’all should’ve asked him why he chose not to recast the world 1st BLACK LEADING SUPERHERO. #RecastTChalla
Brilliant director. Poor speaker.
Peter looks like he could be Colin Powell's son.
I'm very happy and can't wait for the education coming June 28th.
Peter Nicks reminds me of Colin Powell. Good interview. Cooglar is such a gem.
Being from the Bay, this is the first I realized our accent. Ryan got that TOWN accent faSho👌🏾

Leave the anthem alone you morons.

Is it me, or does Peter Nicks look exactly like Colin Powell?
This is why teachers are important and SHOULD educate students of things like this!!!!
