I believe there is now an ever growing disappointment not only in Russia but also in the Global South on how the SMO is being conducted by Putin. I do agree that for whatever geopolitical or economic reasons this SMO is being conducted, it only exposes Russia to its own vulnerabilities/weaknesses. 1.) Its highly acclaimed ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaisance) system is by far still weak bcoz it has failed time & again to stop, detect & intercept Ukrainian drones, missles, storm shadow & rocket attacks inside Lughansk, Bryansk, Bolgorod, Crimea & Moscow. It seems that either the Russian Military establishment is underestimating the capabilities of AFU or its defense systems are over-stretched; 2.) Putin is losing psychologically in the "battle of narratives" that the West is mounting in the Mainstream Media. It may be inconsequential to him but it is a matter of great importance to all the supporters of Russia. As his image is eroding by the day in the Press, the more the West will be inclined to double down & escalate the war; 3.) Putin's strategy of "escalation management" is just stoking the fire more & only prolonging the conflict more since the West sees it as weakness. The supply of Depleted uranium ammo is already making an inroad & thus delivery of F-16 jets is not far behind; In summation, the mere foot- dragging & slow progress in capturing Bakhmut by Wagner Group or by Russian Regular Army is giving a bad impression of Russia's strenght & its determination of ending the war at no time. Afterall, this is actually a war launched by the West against Russia and therefore 'there is no substitute to total victory'; IT IS Time now to destroy Ukraine for good as Medvedev has intimated.

This is so slow and rambling I can't be bothered to listen to the end. So far most of your facts are based on Russian information. Its obvious that most information from both sides is slanted, but the Russians claimed long ago that they had destroyed 4 times as many himars than Ukraine had been given so you should learn to take a ton of salt with what the Russuans say. They are not always wrong but they are always highly exaggerated in the same way that there are some pro Ukraine blogs I don't floow because they are too far from the truth.
This conflict is such a heart breaking foolish episode. The people behind it, stoking it, are career political criminals and bankers. People are waking up. It doesn't have to be this way.

Why isn't Russia targeting the Ukrainian Air Force Bases and civilian airports, destroying refueling equipment vehicles, runways, and fighter planes on the ground all over the country? That would've been the first thing I would've done. That would make sure that if the West did think of sending F-16s, there would be nowhere for them to land.
