  1. Lol don't we hear this all the time, reality Ukraine Lost. Ukraine does Nazi parades for almost a decade and has summer camps for kids. Massive Nazi problem in Ukraine. Corrupt government allowing it for almost a decade, do any of you know how bad that is?

  2. The real problem is that the majority of the tanks that Russia is losing are their T72, T80, and T90's. These are their most modern and capable tanks. Sure, they have thousands of old T62 and T55's relics in storage that make up a very large portion of their estimated 12,000 tanks in inventory, but most of these are rust buckets, and likely only a maximum of 15-20% could even be made operational. But these relics have other problems… they are gas hogs, they have minimal armor, and they use a different ammunition size than the more modern tanks, which would further complicate the supply line issues Russia already has. Maintenance is problematic, as spare parts have to be gleaned by cannibalization of other units. Russia has good reason to fear the arrival of the Leopard and Abrams tanks. They will be significantly outmatched by these tanks. Even the Stryker and Bradley FV's will cause Russia no end of problems on the battlefield. The Abrams 1 tanks used by the US in Iraq were estimated to be worth 4 T72's (4 to 1). The Abrams 2's are faster, with much more advanced laser and thermal targeting systems, and greater/faster range of fire. No detailed comparison I have seen has been done, but initial estimates are that the ratio could be as high as 6 to 1 versus the T72's. That means that if the West manages to get the 300 tanks into Ukraine's hands that they have been asking for… Russia will need to field somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 of their most modern tanks to be able to compete on the battlefield, and that does not include the damage the Bradley and Stryker units could do to those Russian tanks.

  3. And this was against just Ukraine. Can you imagine the carnage if just Germany, just France or Poland, or England… not to mention the US, threw some serious resources and troops into the fight? It'd be all over in days……

  5. I have just learned during an interview with some expert (amazing how many there are out there these days) that Russia with it's shift to a war economy now produces 17 T-90s/month, with 3 or 4 mostly T-60s refurbed from storage. Chips are being smuggled in from China. That's about 20/month going to the front. It's unfortunate, then, that their current rate of attrition is 10/day.
