Ruining Christmas with Kaizo Mario Kart tracks. Kaizo Mario Kart, the successor to Impossible Custom Tracks and Hardcore Mario Kart, is a series in which @TWD98 and I attempt to beat some of the hardest modded courses ever created in Mario Kart Wii. If we were to consider Luigi Circuit to be 1/10 difficulty and Rainbow Road to be 2/10 difficulty, how crazy would 10/10 difficulty be?

It’s Christmas (eve) and I’m gonna be real with you, there’s no way I’ll be able to keep up weekly uploads if I’m always doing perspective switching. Going forward I’ll do it more lightly I think, but Troy’s footage was weird and wacky to sync from this particular recording session so I decided not to bother at all. Still, I hope you all have a fantastic holiday season! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, I apologize for adding to the pile of Christmas videos haha.
We’re also trying a few new things this video. For one, we’re playing in mirror mode to try and remove my advantage. It’s not fair when I’ve played these tracks before. Secondly, we started using custom characters! In this video, we used the following characters, both created by UltraWario:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass has nothing on these tracks. If you thought Ninja Hideaway from Mario Kart Tour was hard, wait until you see some of these tracks. You may have heard names such as Mushroom Peaks, Six King Labyrinth, or Desert Bus in the past. Kaizo Mario Kart will blow these tracks out of the water.

This time, I can't deny, my favorites are Tiny Rosalina's ice world and Stretched Snow land! I've been a huge fan of Rosalina's ice world on Mario Kart 7 , and you did an incredible job making this track! And I've always loved the stretched tracks series, Snow land being deliciously chaotic…
Happy holidays! I personally think playing all of the tracks on mirror mode takes away some of the enjoyment personally but other than that I’m enjoying this series!

I think I definitely prefer multiple perspectives, it's much more interesting to actually see stuff like Troy getting the shortcuts for instance than just hearing about them, and especially if you get stuck in a race I think you should show the other person's perspective

Usually I can play mirror tracks without any practice on the non-mirror versions.
I personally think you should do the courses in mirror mode for practice, then do them normally with Troy, because I feel like we're not getting an accurate representation of the track when watching. Great video as always though!

You haven't exactly developed any muscle memory of the track but you will have a general idea of the whereabouts or certain turns, even in mirror mode, which makes it easier than playing it for the first time ever, where you have no idea what awaits you.
