RTX 5090 is here. Let’s play some games at 4k and 8k testing vs a 4090. Thanks to PCSpecialist and Nvidia for the new tech. Leave a LIKE and a comment, cheers for watching. Games tested were BFV, BF2042, 3D Mark Time Spy Extreme, Black Myth WuKong, Black Ops 6, Cyberpunk, Valorant, Anthem, CS2, Alan Wake 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel Rivals.

thats wierd cuz my rx 7900xtx 1440p gives me the same fps to a rtx 5090 whit the same settings in some off the games 🤔
wukong devs cringey af
bro is talking to us like we can afford it 😂
What performance overlay are you using? The info on the top right corner looks really clean, I like it
So nvidia said we will have same performance with a 5070 that we have with a 4090
ill stay with my 4090 this time
8:34 cars spawning in and out is egregious for a "finished polished Overwhelmingly Positive " game good one CDPR
Cool and all but why not test pubg? Need raw testing, none of that gimmick nvidia bragging about.
The people who complain about frame generation or AI algorithms that offset a massive amount of demand on your GPU that produce better looking visuals are moronic.
Then the second camp that state there’s no gain in 5 series, yeah only +40% compute over 4 series lol. Just because you can’t afford a 5 series does not make either true.
1:16 hey Jack, I saw that your monitor was set to 119.80 refresh rate in the game. I don't know what monitor you are using, but, if I remember correctly, I think you had a 240hz monitor. this means, the monitor refresh rate is not set correctly in your PC or you are using a bad cable to connect to the monitor. you can check this by setting the correct monitor refresh rate in the nvidia control panel, if you are not able to set a higher refresh rate despite your monitor spec, it means you are using the wrong cable. Just thought of pointing it out as you are missing out on some performance. often, due to new pcs, the setting won't be correct. hope you see this and check it out. 😊Cheers 🍻
EDIT: thanks to 4:19 I was able to see that you are using a MAG274UPF which is a 160hz monitor. this means the refresh rate is not set properly on your PC. please do check in the nvidia control panel or the nvidia app and set it to 160hz. hope this helps 😊
Oh, and don’t forget, if you’re going to upgrade to the 50 series card. Your motherboard must have PCIE 5.0 lanes, as 4.0 PCIE lanes will not support the 50 series GPU.
Damn why’d you have to put anthem in there? Literally one of my favorite games that never was. 😢
Great content Jack!
You keep saying rasterization, but then you turn on Ray Tracing?
After watching a few reviews, the takeaway seems to be: Pure, unadulterated rasterisation performce on a 5090 isn't a massive leap over the 4090. If you're into gaming, stick with the 4090. If you're more into production, the 5090 is a good choice. Most of the AI features, except Multi Frame Generation (MFG) will work on previous gen GPUs too.
My experience is, that any DLSS mode is making the game increasingly blurry. Not as crisp as 1440p or 4k suggests.
In FPS games we don’t care about ray tracing bro. Ditch the reading points bro 🤥
If you have a 4090 then it's a complete waste of money, they are just drip feeding technology like mobile phones
What was the PC specs that you use when you were benchmarking? By standing in the Middle of nowhere of course you'll get high frames you need to be in the front lines fighting with all the Grenades flying around in explosions to see how much FPS you get. Yeah, you get really high frames because of the AI abilities but what about the latency of when you're playing multiplayer games. Will esports put the 50 series GPU's in their new PC's?
cool now do a 5070, sommething we can all afford
I think most people are considering a 2,000 dollar graphics card if they have a 3090 or older. I am one of those people. Could you make this exact video only 5090 vs 3090?
This is the exact vid people have been looking for tbh in terms of 5090 benchmarks , this is a real like POV from a gamer just like ourselves , I dont wanna see people pixel peeking artifacts 100 metres away in cyberpunk, they always forget to show like just the regular stuff we all wanna know, not sure if I explained it correct but ive literaly been searching for benchmarks like these and gave up looking , and now ive found them in my routine jackfrags vid so thank you dude,
looks just like a 4060
The use of percentages can seem odd sometimes with these GPU Reviews, just go by what your eyes see. Numbers are clear and obvious regardless of the said percentage. If it shows a 10fps difference, that's what it is. Sometimes when they throw out a percentage it can sound Huge, when its not especially when price is considered.
