And they were supposed to pick up a parcel yesterday but didn’t bother turning up. I paid for 24 hour tracked because I want it to arrive before Xmas and they don’t bother picking it up at their prescribed time. Remember when we used to have two post deliveries a day? Now I get about two a week.
The sooner Amazon starts a consumer parcel pickup and delivery service the better. Amazon’s system could instantly identify a time when their retail parcels are due to be delivered locally, and pick up local parcels at the same time. It wouldn’t be daily, but would be more reliable, not cost much more emissions, and they already have the distribution system in place.
