  1. love it, training for the sake of training, from personal experience you feel so much better when your able to do something you enjoy and be able to train. for example, lets say i didn't want to hit a leg day, well then I'd go find a peak to hike up and bam, enjoyable and efficient. Glad to see your feeling healthier again!

  2. Nice one – I have the same goal for the Prague Marathon in May! Wishing you lots of success in smashing that upcoming PB! Also, very good point on focusing on your personal enjoyment – I find that is the best and most consistent motivator, however, we all have days we just need to grind it out only to find out we thoroughly enjoyed that session in the end:)

  3. Every video Fergus uploads I will wait to see if my rock on from two weekends ago made it in to the video. My life will then be complete and That will be better than running my long time goal of 2:39 marathon- I’m also doing Edinburgh marathon festival but I’m doing the half going for sub 1:30

  4. That run was at a solid pace – what're your heart rate zones? My max is 207 (it's been measured) so I know my heart is quick, but it's always disheartening seeing people going at a quicker pace with a much slower HR

  5. Would love to see an actual “what you eat in a day” kinda video, like where do you find that the time to make you meals, how do you decide what to eat, is it mostly convenience? Are you lucky enough to have someone cook for you rough training? I love training and love food and cooking, find it hard to find them to get it all done.

  6. Nice breakdown – plan sounds solid. On a different note: I know you know your capabilities on a bike best but please (and I say this not as a remark of criticism but rather “worry”): helmet on when on a bicycle – for your own health and seeing as other, less experienced cyclists might see this and take an example.

  7. Excited about the nutrition calculator. Once PHNutrition calculator went down there wasn’t another one as good as that one and sounds like Omnia Performance is once again doing something great for athletes! Thanks!

  8. I've had the nutrition call with Tom this morning. It was really good. Was feeling a bit hesitant beforehand, wondering if he would just try get me on a coaching plan, but he was class, answered all my questions and more and has given me clarity going forward. It's literally quality free information, thanks Fergus. Good luck with training and racing.
