I played the game for over 200 hours. I have several bases, several activated indium farms, a freighter, and after 200 hours I ran into a wall and I just can't get into it anymore. Making money is pointless. The game has no depth. I'll keep checking out the updates, but I guess I'm meant for something else…

My first try at an expedition. Was fun but didn't last very long. 11 hours and 57 minutes
The only problem i have with the Hospitality milestone is the 5mil credit bonus for people that play online. I know 5M is nothing in the long run, but early on, its a god send. Devs could have set the requirement to talk to the captain of 20+ npc freighter captains, or talk/trade with 25+ captains in general. They have an explore quest for multiple plants and animals that is completely offline, narratively it wouldnt have been a stretch. Hello devs just patched out a multiplayer griefing glitch less than a month ago, and the easiest way to prevent all that noise is to play fully solo. The expedition is still great, im just salty about missing that 5 mil 😭

I have some troubling news that may upset some viewers. For my start of the game I was blessed with the most Phallic of vessels. A twenty balled behemoth with a rotating head, of course I dubbed the ship Plungerhead B-20, as any would do. Now for the part that I apologize for in advance of those of a squeamish nature. When entering the game again I was robbed, my strong shafted vessel was replaced with what can only be described as a lawn mower engine with an axe blade. The majestic Plungerhead B-20 was nowhere in sight. I blame the Gek, as all should but this travesty will not stand. I have been rendered flaccid and I am not happy.

I was invited to an NPC freighter as one does flying the verse. It was an A class. When I bought it, I lost my base on the freighter. Trying to fix it. I think they have some logic problems, hoping they can patch it.
I also noticed the new freighter I have doesn't have the singularity drive, nor can I install one. So… I might be a bit hosed at the moment. I can't read the logs either. I am on the second step.
Hey bob, hope alls well, i know your an orange ship man, as am i, last night i ran into a beautiful orange hauler with blue trim, fancy big fan wings and all, nicest ive seen to date, figured youd like to check it out, and you can share it on your channel or the exchange thing if you want. I just play single player though, so dont really know how to do the multiplayer stuff, so if you want i can get the portal address and send it in dm, or your welcome to join me in game and head over, but youd have to tell me how to do such shenanigans. And actually i was gonna see if you wanted a real life gift seeing as your videos have helped me many times, and the few times ive asked a question youve always been kind enough to help out, thats not a public convo though, nothing crazy mind you, lol, that probably sounds oddly cryptic but cant think of a better way to say it, lol.
I bought this game at launch in 2016 when it was kinda meh. Stopped playing for years. Logged in around 2019 for 5 mins and couldn't remember how to do anything and quit again. Just started up again a few days ago and have been watching your videos to help me understand wtf I should be doing. Having a lot of fun now. Thanks, man.

My freighter was Gek (along with the character I spawned as). It had flat round cargo containers and was orange in color. My starship was a blocky and was originally on fire. The fire disappeared after I landed. My frigate has a korvax captain, and had a 21 in exploration, and 0-2 for the other stats.
Managed to find a cool solar sailer in the first system, it was a C class sobit was a cheap purchase. Scrsped the original ship fir the milestone too. Picked up 2 more Vy'keen frigates that had good trade stats. And an awesome looking starship who is now in my squadron.
